hyunjin literally just yeeted his hat to the side and acted like he didn’t kill everyone

If you look carefully at the choreo you'll notice how there are many chef and cooking references like the "du du du" part represents them cutting on a cutting board and the "Tang tang tang" part is like them throwing spices into a pan and then the bow at the end has like chef etiquette? to it so yeah that's cool. It's fine that you didn't pick up on it cuz I've watched so many performances of this so it was easier for me to notice. So maybe if u ever watch it again on your own time you'll see it too :)

The part where they get up from the floor is actually a step called "scorpion dance" and it was popularized by a 2nd gen group called Infinite! I know they're an older group but because you love synchronization, I'd like to suggest their performances too. They're the OG "kings of synchronization" in Kpop and rheir music is unparalleled too 💛

I was so excited to see you react to this! Also, I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but if you didn't know already, Lee Know (or Minho) actually is a main dancer in Stray Kids and used to be a background dancer for BTS!

*So Jeff,* I actually learned the choreo of this dance 2 days after it came out by watching a mirrored performance. It took me less than 30 mins to just learn the moves for the chorus but more than a day to dance it properly. *You are so right about this dance being easy but on the other hand the execution and techniques were so hard to do.* My energy is always drained whenever I try it and its only the chorus lol. I think maybe I use too much energy in the wrong moves. 😅

It’s super cute and creative that the choreo has so many cooking actions to match their concept. (Like Jisungs whole rap section. And the chorus. And I.N.’s part. And the bow at the end. etc) A super smart idea.

Stray Kids is their own style and it feels like they've fully embraced it for this album. There's no mistaking that this is a skz song. No one else can do it like them

This song has a cooking theme. If you rewatch and look closely you’ll see so many choreography that has a cooking reference in it for example stirring a pot, tasting, seasoning which is soooo creative tbh.

I’ve been waiting for this reaction since they released the mv.

On one hand we absolutely need to protect Hyunjin's long luscious locks because they're so gorgeous and flowy when he dances/exists, on the other hand he's absolutely gorgeous with literally ANYTHING that I'm willing to accept the eventually inevitable haircut

As you've likely learned by now, Stray Kids video producers use far fewer green screens that some think. And their editors are masters of transitions (with matchcuts as specialty, imo). They take Stray Kids' greatness next level.

i like how there are a lot of cooking references. in the beginning, its kinda like they’re rubbing their bellies like they’re hungry. for jisung’s rap, its like they’re sprinkling spices into a pot, and they put their hands up to their mouth for a taste. there’s chopping and stirring pots references and even more, these are the only ones i can think of at the top of my mind

I honestly love this song and it such a great song to be their first full album title track. The only thing that bothered me a little was that lee know got barely any lines and screen time. im gonna say from this 4 years i 've seen and stan alot of groups but imo Straykids synchronized 99.9% and i loveeee that

just an fyi, most of the key points of the choreography represents cooking as well. For example in the chorus, the "tang tang tang" part may represent that salt bae moment or sprinkling salt etc. The "du du du du du du" part represents chopping up ingredients. They also did the action of mixing stuff in the chorus part, they do that thing where you flip and shake stuff in a pan. I've noticed that in stray kidz choreos, they incorporate the lyrics or the story of the song into the choreography.

Skz had a really rough 2019 and I'm so incredibly proud of how far they've come. Their first full album is a huge deal and they fucking killed it. Every single song on the album is incredible

Chanbin's rap style is always so nice to listen to and it fits the song so well.

Jisung is not only a rapper/writer/producer but a vocalist as well! Since their pre-debut days he was the best at reaching high notes (for example in the pre-debut song Hellevator) and, although he is mostly considered a rapper because of his wonderful skills, he has been given many vocal parts up till now! When Woojin left the group, Stray Kids lost a main vocalist and that's why Jisung has more vocal parts now: you can see it in the song Levanter! I am so speechless right now, my brain is still trying to process the meaning of the song and MV. I did figure out that “Shin” word means both “God” and “New” which either one can be applied to this title track 👀 They literally became GODS OF THE KITCHEN, scientist construction area, nascar, marching band etc in this video which I think speaks for itself and dont even get me started on the fashion & visuals because OMG i’m dead. Their vlive showcase was amazing they were adorably funny at the same time being super handsome, theyre growing so fast ... this track is giving me so much of their previous albums Hellevator, District 9, Awaken, Miroh, Victory Song, Side Effects, Double Knot, and Levanter etc from beginning to end which makes me feel like they finally putting their storyline together in this new full album after so long of waiting.
