i first heard about them with bon chocolate but i didn’t pay that much attention to them bc i thought that was their only good song and then this came out and i was like hold up this that same group... so i went down the rabbit hole of everglow and now im obsessed with them bc they never miss, just continuous bops! i can’t wait until they get more exposure and just kill the game.

And i still cant believe that they didn't get nominated for mama. No offense to bp, but hylt is one the easiest choreos out there and i must say that there are A LOT of other gg who deserved to get nominated for dance performance and even better, deserved to win. Iz*one, itzy, twice, loona, dreamcatcher, gfriend, and eg are only few of the best gg choreos in kpop.

I'm living for how you went silent after seeing that dance break!! It is literally so mind blowing how they can combine all of those moves in such a short amount of time and execute it so well down to the small details!! Like when I could see the whole choreo for the first time, I was like remembering how I wan complaining that they didn't have a comeback for a while but then it's because they were preparing for THIS I mean just wow. Everglow always out do themselves and they only debuted last year, it's crazy!!! Also quite a lot of people used to say Everglow were over hyped since they "copied Blackpink" and said the choreography was too easy, but here they are with a totally different sound and choreography and still doing amazing, and now I don't see anyone complaining which is how it should've been all this time. I can't shut up about my belief in Everglow supremacy I'm sorry they are gonna be on top in the coming years I'm telling you!!!!!

I just ignore those ppl tbh because they only came to hate. No offense tho, but blackpink has one of the easiest choreos out there. I know they won best dance performance on mama last year, but hylt is probably the easiest, non-surprising choreo compared to iz*one, gfriend, itzy, loona, eg, twice, etc. Which is why i dont understand how they "copied blackpink", as if bp is the only gg who exist lol

mia is such a great main dancer and main vocalist. her stage presence, her facial expressions, her attention to details(body lines, standing on tip toe even when it's not needed). also, can we talk about the high notes and ad libs she does even live? i saw their performance on asia song festival and i was impressed on how stable her voice is. it's a shame that she gets so much hate because of lines. i don't see kpop stans calling ''jungkook and friends'', ''baekhyun and the dancers'' as a way to downgrade them like they do with gg, specially everglow and gidle. the double standards are real. :(

Now I get your point. In girl gp, may be people called "someone and friends" bc one member gets all eg. center, lines, screentime and prettiest outfits? But in boy gp, although one gets most lines, others get center part or dance break etc I think? That's my opinion tho. Yeah may be like you said It's can be double standard too

@@wallaceavila6560 The problem was not "has the most lines", but she alone had more then half a song in title tracks to herself since debut and only this comeback is good in terms of lines, it was fucked up. But as far as I know, only haters were mad at her for this, majority of us are blaming the company.

Hey I'm Jungkook and Mia fan and I can tell you have no idea how much hate Jungkook gets After every comeback he gets hate if he gets most line (even if they are not much) They trended for him to leave just because other group fans called Jungkook as only talented one in bts

Yesss THIS dance is one of the hardest I ever seen, the moves of the hands, the positions, the parts in the floor, the dance break, is so hard, I don’t even seen a completely cover choreo of other persons, that they do all right, like it’s so hard

i’ve learned the whole choreo and holy cow the floor work, the vogueing, literally everything is so difficult. I’ve had to go back time and time again to clean up and work on my arms and hands. I would also sometimes go way faster in the chorus with the arms which really is just oooooffff. The pose that Sihyeon does in the beginning, i actually cannot believe i can do it. it felt uncomfortable at first but as time went by, i actually kind of like it haha. Onda’s pose is really hard tho.

@@xromane_7522 o ya! when they’re doing the pose with one knee on the floor and stuff, you should get a knee pad to figure out which part of the knee u should be placing ur weight on. when i did it without a knee pad for the first time, i always placed it to the side which is really uncomfortable and the bruises will really hurt. Once u know where to place ur knee with the knee pad, u can try doing it without it.

3:45 when you’re talking about the pose with two of the members heels being up and the other members having their feet flat it’s to make the levels work and create a triangular picture where the height goes down with each member. To have the feet in the same position would be sacrificing the angle of the top half of the picture. Love your reactions!

I was also thinking this. Aisha is much taller then the rest of the girls and to avoid having her bending further down, it makes more sense for her to lower her heel.

The hard move at the end of the dance break is called "dip" and when they are moving, while squatting is called "duckwalk". Those terms are from Voguing. 🙏

Mia is definitely within the top of the most talentend idols of 4th generation. She could even compete on level with more experienced idols bc she lacks nothing. PERIODT.

Everglow really has incredible dances. Lady is the hardest. But what is exceptional is that with Everglow there is always a step of the dance that becomes iconic and it is often the dance of the chorus and it is its incredible, she manages to do a difficult dance but that everyone will eventually recognize and remember thanks to her iconic steps.

Both the poses that Onda and Sihyeon did in the intro are drawn from vogue fem. Onda was holding the soft and cunty dip pose, while Sihyeon’s pose is super popular for drag queens to do. I remember back then Beyoncé did the exact same pose of an I Am Sasha Fierce album photoshoot. It’s interesting how Chungha did a full-on old way vogue choreo in Stay Tonight, and Everglow draws some influences from vogue fem

I actually think if you look closer EU has her heels lifted ( not as high as the rest though ) during the "show me baby" part but i think the reason why aisha didnt elevate her heels is to match with the levels of the other memebrs. Overall a very good detailed reaction though
