Giselle's seems more about Deepfake. Considering that she has the 'deepfake' in the lyrics of Savage and concept of aespa, the dark side of advancement of technology where you can switch faces to a different person in media seems also compatible with what is shown starting in 12:09.

SM did really good job on ning ning's part.. from joyful emoji to that virus like thing which represents the corona virus ever since that some people start to hate ning ning for being chinese.. later there are also some background speaking in korean saying "chinese" which shows how tons of korean hate her only due to she is from China.. also some chinese saying her singing is not that good... as well as English saying "Chinese"... Ning Ning got so much hate ever since covid and winter olympic.. that pink beat she encountered is representation of Lysn a kpop idol chatting app a lot of kpop fans are using.. u subscribe certain idols and u can send them private chat.. sometimes they reply. After the Winter Olympic, some koreans came to her Lysn to bash her after ning ning congrats the team of her own country for wining the 1st place.. SM has to temporarily close her account.

The scenes where it shows the members dealing with such disturbing things actually represent the harsh reality of kpop, or just entertainment industry in general. Karina's part shows her dealing with insecurities and the pressure to be perfect. Winter's part shows how celebrities deal with any kind of baseless rumors which spread around faster than the truth. Giselle's part shows how they could never run from public attention and media's eyes. While Ningning's part shows how it is so easy for the celebrities to be most loved, but suddenly become the most hated just with the power of internet, and how the malicious comments from the public can harm them. When I first watched the episode, I'm suddenly feeling emotional especially with how much aespa get hates all these times. I'm glad that SM gives them opportunity to promote this kind of content, hopefully the girls will be comforted with this and will be stronger to deal with their hardships. They just released Life's Too Short music video this morning, if is possible you can react to it, or just watch it by your own as the lyrics fit so well with the storyline in these smcu series. The more you watch this episode the more things you learn and notice. It's must be my 5th watch and some scenes that I didn't get from the first watch now I understand that they have deeper meaning than what it looks like. It truely is a masterpiece. Thank you to the team behind this.

The girls all have different powers (they introduce them in their B-side song aenergy) They also tie in with the previous episode and the MVs, so far

One of the small but important details that I love but not a lot of people notice is when Giselle read the "Black Mamba" on the train before she got in (because she was last to do so), she's the only one who understood the translation of that (hence why it was in a glitchy effect) because that's her power, xenoglossy.

EP2 is talking about their weakness, worries? My conclusion: Karina : expectation of her perfection. Everyone said that Karina is reliable, and Karina said about her worries , which is that the ae-karina is perfect , but real Karina can't be always so perfect Giselle: criticism of her appearance and . EP 1, Giselle is enjoying the camera and dreams to be a super star, but ep 2 she is fear of the camera,people have been attacking her figure and her appearance . Everyone is watching you, everyone wants to replace you. Winter: misunderstanding of her by others. Saying that she had a bad personality or that she "bully" her teammates, so she turned around and wanted to run away. i think this is also why her eyes turning black? cause Naevis say "never turning back", she didn't run forward but back？ Ningning: Hate comments from all over the Internet (the knife under the keyboard) + nationality controversy (the blood in the video,there also some voice saying "Chinese" in behind).
