Anyways, I thought I should help you guys figure out if this thing is worth buying or not. I'll spoil the video: unless you don't care about money too much, I can't really tell you that it is worth it.
As far as grinding goes, the F-5C is most likely the more cost effective option at $60 vs $75, having similar efficiency and not having to deal as much with top tier skill issues & IRCCM at 10.3. As far as having fun goes... it's top tier. The F-20 relies on down tiers for the most fun, which might be 1/3 of all your games if you're lucky, even with 12.0 seemingly receiving an improved matchmaker. Especially since there's other options at 12.0 like the F-16 ADF with better performance, armament and the same matchmaker. The F-5C even will be similarly, if not more fun than this thing, at 10.3.
That all being said, I love the way this thing looks and the idea of people immediately assuming I must be terrible at the game for playing a $75 premium, just to be caught off guard by a level 100 not immediately bleeding their speed. That can be quite satisfying. I can say I'm happy I have it- perhaps some changes to top tier in the future will make this thing even more fun to play.
