2019 Couger FTD absolutely love the boat... had it running 77.2 loaded down. Met Mr Peirce last yr at Lewis Smith owners tournament and seems like a genuinely nice guy. He definitely cares about his customers

Thank you for this video. I have a new Allison and it is awesome, more Awesome than I can manage today but with this instruction I will get it fixed. I am making all the mistakes Rick mentions. Please make more videos on performance handling.

Them bass cats are slick and fast boats. Running a new skeeter this year because of my preferences but those bass cats can’t be beat for looks and speed.

I am on my second Cat and in the 21 PII with a Merc 200 Ive reached 75mph. You have to get on the water and practice these steps it doesn't happen in 5 minutes.

When you say “2 inches left of center” Do you mean moving the steering wheel 2” towards the left or the bow of the boat 2” left of center? Thank you!

He's talking about the bow...but really the more important piece comes in a few minutes later. Develop the feel for the boat and keep the motor mounts loaded on that side. It takes time in the seat to become sensitive to these things. Keep Rick's advice in mind, keep your mind and body open to the input the boat is providing, and it will click eventually.

@@BoatingMagazine totally confused on this. It would seem this would cause the boat to steer to the left and not run straight. Eventually, you would drive it on land. I know I'm missing something but don't know what.

@@getore100boat motors have right rotating props, so it want to go right so you counteract that by steering a little left. Thats how I understand it anyway

I love bass cat boats so beautiful and i know they are well made but i have a ? Every one i have ever rode in why do they suck to the water no lift hardly in rough water they dive in waves ? Why is that even trimming up still suck hardly no lift at all.

David, they shouldn’t stick unless engines are too high. This is the most common issue on performance boats.
