Like I told Joe, you did well for what you had to work with considering ER are better at Arcane warriors than seekers (imo anyways) however this was such an uphill battle for you, well done. If it makes you fee battle there’s literally nothing range classes can do really to counter this except maybe Soul of Silence to remotely get breathing room however Halo completely destroys arcanes.

Thanks Scally, yeah...Its not just one or two things that I need to look out for, its a complete shit-show in terms of match-up. The amount of damage delivered to me with those elemental stances is already hard enough to tank & adding in skills like Halo & a buff that just obliterates all possibilities to kite makes it retarded. In one of the fights you can see me take 6.5K ticks from Halo with CAPPED physical defense with dew....I have nothing else to say, I don't even want to think about what it will do to arcanes. Not to mention the fact that my CC is useless most of the times, I simply cannot trade damage because I am forced into survival-mode right of the bat. I will see what I can muster up as time goes by!

Ruby Inferno others keep the pdef debuff and not the mdef debuff you see joe using. In doing so they pdef break,mire, halo and I average 16-25k depending if they full deity or devil. Far more than my hp capacity in a arcane and in REAPER FORM with cap odef

@@HorizonMediaGaming Ya, I also tried to be as nasty as possible and swap back and forth between not only glyphs but different playstyles as well. Since I was using a dex genie..its especially hard with just elemental damage because I can switch so fast hence you need to kinda anticipate fire combo at any point, making it hard af to use Soul of Fire and it can be baited pretty easily as well due to that. Most classes dont have remotely as much versatility. Sure, you can swap glyphs but that doesnt change the core gameplay of any class out there, maybe one exception being sin, focusing on pure damage or hit charges with elimination but thats about it. Any other class basically functions the same with any glyph setup. Not so Edge, I can go between full focus on Halo, Focus on halo + physical break, combine focus on halo but with magical break, go pure magical + halo on the side or go pure magical + focus on my paralyze shield and 3.5s stun. I also fooled around with the different elemental stances but yeah, normally you would just stick to earth or water (if no oxygen bubble) and just switch to fire when you need it for the combo but there is so much versatility...hardly any class can keep up with it just because of that cause you can never expect whats about to come. If you aim to block purely incoming damage from hits and try to kite when shattering scream is off but then comes ulti + halo...welp xD it's tough but my MAN!!! did a great job anyways

@@raygonzalez3889 well tbh, Edgerunner is a strong class. However, you do not have much CC and many special debuffs, so if you dont plan on gearing it very well, I'd say on average seeker is the much better class. Even with a bit lower gear, your SS debuff and Chaos Blade can still be somewhat effective. Also Edge is quite squishy on top of it all.

I really want to see a 1v1 between Edgerunner x Duskblade or Assassin.

Hello, I am a PW BR player here in Brazil we haven't received the new classes yet, but we always see the PWI game on KZread, my question is, did you try to change genie skills? For example, look for a more offensive side for a more offensive style while using pots, apothecaries, genie to reduce damage. In my point of view either you kill or you die because you will not be able to control the fight, you will not be able to breathe. did you do any other tests to show? In terms of status you have a slightly lower attack, which makes a difference on your opponent taking everything into consideration and would you put the new class above the others? And what the folks at PWBR can expect from the new classes about PVE and PVP.

Felipe Andrade The stat difference is definitely there because of the lesser tome refine for me, 15 Apt and Level 6 glyphs vs Level 8 for the Edge. However, the major problem is still the class itself. The problem is breathing room like you already said and I have to rely heavily on genie skills to just hang on and not die, bursting down the Edge with that build isn’t a problem to begin with but the Edge has so much advantage in terms of avoiding CC and dealing tons of damage that it makes it really hard to stand still and do a damage-race. I a full strength genie with Tangling Mire might help my offence a bit but that will leave me with even leaser breathing room than what I have. Next update will allow Seekers to swap to full metal damage and that might actually turn the tide quite a bit, I hope I can upgrade my gear as well by then.

yes psychic can counter this class but i feel for the majority of others i have seen an edge tank full 3 spark from me on the shield and come out still living i was blown away by how overpowered this class is
