FADING STEPS:
1. Take #4 guard and set a nice clean base for fade, attack pariatal ridge ( hairline edge)
2. Set 1st guideline(GL) with soft trimmer. Start at c cup are and go toward the occipital bone
Tip: split his sideburns in half
3. Clean up area below GL with hard trimmer
4. Shave everything underneath the GL with single foil shaver
5. #1 guard with the lever open on clipper create a 2 finger GL
6. With no guard lever open, split the 2nd GL in half
7. Babytap the new GL with soft trimmer
8. Using the MIDDLE OPEN CLOSE method blend out the GL that were set
Tip: use corner of the blade to watch closely where you cut
9. Use Closed to Open method using a #1 guard to blend the 2nd GL and repeat 3-4x
10. Attach #½ guard to blend out the 2nd GL completely
This step requires alot of focus because GLs are hard to see
11. Attach #2 guard and flick up higher into the fade
12. Repeat same steps with 3 guard as well continuing to use Closed to Open lever method
13. Use 1.5 guard to blend out the original GL with the top of the fade
Tip use each method 4x for a cleaner better fade

How do you what guards youre using for your base. When the client wants a certain length on type

  • @antonioas709
    @antonioas70911 ай бұрын

So when you use thenopen tonclose method, youre going from the bottom of the guideline almost touching the guideline above, then youre going from the first guideline to the halfway point (or between those two guidelines) then youre hitting from thenbottom guideline and slightly above it?

Is there any chance u could do something Similar by zooming into guidelines, labeling them, and then slowing down explaining the close to open method? It would be soooo helpful
