If you didn't see it yet check out Oswin Benjamins freestyle on Sway 2019. Its on the same lvl as Black Thoughts, if not better. Handlez McGees freestyle on I-95 (I think) is also one of the best I've ever seen.

Lil Dicky is a GENIUS!!! He is extremely witty and his flow is killer, too! He definitely does not take himself too seriously, yet he still kills it at the same time. He will mess your head up countless times in a rhyme. I’m SO happy to have come across his rhymes! I love intelligent rappers. I have always been one to break down what someone is saying and this guy will blow your mind. He spits 🔥🔥🔥!!! Mad props to Lil Dicky! His show is great, too.

Here's something a lot of people still somehow don't understand about rap: ALL FREESTYLERS - ALL - write their freestyle rhymes. They might not spit them in the same order they are written, and they'll pick certain pre-written lines improvisationally to fit the beat or keep going with a certain train of thought, but think about it: If it is a professional rapper, that is what he does all day, every day. He writes rhymes - probably hundreds of them that will never make it into a song or even pop out in a freestyle. Every good freestyler has a data bank of written lines stored in their mind somewhere. Many will recite multiple verses in a row that were pre-written at some point. Making stuff up on the spot isn't even what _freestyling_ means. It only means that you are free to style your rapping as you choose or as appropriate to fit any beat someone throws at you. "Off the top" is just one type of freestyling. (Sorry for the rant; I'm an almost 50 year old white dude who grew up with rap in the 80s and I get irritated by young heads not knowing what they are talking about when it comes to hip hop.)

Okay, several things. First off, nice reaction vid! You're the first reviewer that got the Bernie Madoff bar. (It wasn't rape)...next, Awkward Dawn is right, his first Sway freestyle is outstanding. Lyrically better in my opinion...lastly, if you didn't know he was this nice, then enjoy your travels down this rabbit hole. If you're a sports fan, I highly recommend SPORTS. Depending on your age, I also recommend The 90's...Lion King, Jewish Flow, and of course, Professional Rapper. Never do the live versions, always the official videos. Oh, and I almost forgot...if you want to hear him do something serious (minimal funny stuff) check out How Can You Sleep, ft. The Game.

He did write this freestyle. In a podcast he said that it's impossible for someone to come up with a very complex freestyle like this on the fly.
