PERFECT First Day in ISTANBUL | Türkiye Travel Vlog
Istanbul is such a crazy city to visit because it feels like there are infinite things to do! Since it felt like such a big task to see the city in such a short period of time we thought we would start the trip by going to some of the most famous spots with some smaller attractions sprinkled in.
On this list are of course sights like the Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar, but we also added some items like a fish restaurant named after the owner who resembles a certain video game plumber... On a long day of exploring, it would have felt wrong to not get some Turkish staples like a nice kebab dürüm and our favorite dessert: baklava!
On this day of exploring we got to see the last stop on the Orient Express which was such an interesting stop because of the fame it has gained due to a large mystery novel based on it. The Hagia Sophia was seriously one of the most incredible things and the history about how it changed hands (and religions) multiple times adds to its "coolness" factor.
Overall, Istanbul is just an amazing place if you want a variety of sights. It's unbelievably large and constantly lively which always leads to a good time exploring!

I really don't understand complaing about Galata tower being to "touristy" what do you expect, it's one of the most popular places in Istanbul and Galata tower is not a skyscraper. Turkish people love their country and they flags always not just for 100 year celebration... your just giving tipical 🇺🇸 vibes...you should do your research a little bit more, especially about religion...

YOUR LİKE İSTANBUL
Galata area is touristy. You haven’t even left the tourist zones for one minute in this whole vlog! It’s obvious you didn’t like it, but what’s the point in zooming in on salt bae-embarrassment and be like whole Galata is a scam? I should also tell, Galata is probably only visible from 5% of Istanbul when you are on a roof, should tell you about the scale of things. But it’s your travel, you can keep filming trashy tourist traps if you like.
Unfortunately, you went to the wrong Mario's. The really good one is about 300 meters further down the pier.
