just a tip mate, you can buy McDonnells curry sauce which is very similar to the real thing, we have in Ireland. Certain coles have it in the international section.

I’d not heard of an Irish Spice Bag before now after watching this I need one. We do heaps of camping and cooking on the fire, so definitely going to add this to our repertoire. Thanks for all your inspo Harry

I do something similar but with garlic five spice, S&P, a green chilli and a little sugar.

I sent this to my elder brother who has lived in Ireland for, like, 1000 years. He said that it is accurate, that he has never seen it done in a camping scenario and that I should try it.

We love the green part of spring onions, carry ours wraped in paper towel in a bag. Keeps well

I find greasy thick cut stringy bacon, a greasy egg just past raw oyster stage on fried thick cut bread toped with 50/50 Barby/Tomato sauce mixed. Excellent for an 8.00 am hangover. Your ready for the hair of the dog by 10.00. Going to have to try this Irish spice bag. Agree, bit of capsicum would add to the flavor. Interested to see how you pull up.

Thanks for the honesty at the end; can’t be bothered deep frying normally let alone camping 🔥 Stainless steel water bottles are great for oil & vinegar etc. I originally got one for fish sauce because fish everywhere is never fun. You can get big ones for the large sized oil bottles. As much as I avoid using plastic normally, zip lock bags are great for camp cooking, save the mess.

Great vid mate. Reckon that bag would go well with a CBCO Porter. Misso was craving the curry sauce as a Pom.
