Perfect and Easy Hike CASCADE CANYON Trail | Grand Teton National Park

A perfect and easy hike in Grand Teton National Park. We took the ferry across Jenny Lake to hike the Cascade Canyon Trail. Beginning with a climb to Inspiration point, this 10 mile out and back offers amazing views of the Teton Mountains. There were numerous animal sightings and wild raspberries. What could be better?

Thank you for this video. My wife and I hiked this trail totally from your experience and recommendations. We were first in line at the boat dock at 6:30am on a Saturday. Our new #1 hike. Thanks so much!

Thanx for posting this beautiful video, brought back memories, now trying to count how many times I've been up this trail, first time in July of 78. Many wonderful memories and photos, caught the eclipse on top of static peak a few years ago. Tip - Inspiration point could have used more reverence, the spot was truly magnificent, I'd have shot at least 15 minutes of that sunrise, over the water, you can always edit things down. Incredible place of peace.

Bear spray is really needed in Grand Teton, as so many grizzly there, I saw grizzlies near the trail to Emma Matilda Lake, 1 grizzly cub and its mother in early July 2022.

@@SOSASATSUNRISE I live in Jackson.Seems like we've been hanging around here since forever. Have you tried Two Ocean Pass trail. Very nice. You can hike that all the way into Yellowstone. BTW, I like the young lady's smile. She reminds me of one of my daughters! You guys enjoy your adventures!

Since this is an out and back you can turn around at any time. It's about a mile to Inspiration Point and then another mile or so into the canyon. Every part of this trail is rewarding.

Would it be redundant to hike both the Cascade Canyon Trail on one day, and then hike the Jenny Lake Loop+Hidden Falls+Inspiration Point trail the following day?

  • @SOSASATSUNRISE

You will hike passed inspiration point on your cascade canyon hike. You could do everything in one hike if you wanted. I am not sure what you would see on Jenny lake loop but I wouldn't call any hike in this park redundant 😁

Time to give the video rant........ If you are videotaping your walk in the woods or wherever STOP TAKING VIDEO'S OF YOURSELF TALKING TO THE CAMERA!!!!!!!!! Instead take a video of what you are seeing and talk over the video.
