Mark Welling dominates. Fantastic percussionist and even better person. Proud to have been his bandmate, collaborator, and friend.

thank God for lake hills

Northwest Music...Awesome
"Mark is a great person and musician, I worked with Mark never knowing his music background, till he actually filled me in. Great drummer !!!
well, here's a story...Randy Nelson is the bassist. He played with Randy Hansen and Ken Mary at the Paramount in Seattle. Ken Mary played a world tour with Alice Cooper in mid 80's. Talk about degrees of separation.
WOW!! Saw these guys Aug.19, 1984 open for Rail at the Columbia Theater in Longview WA. Such a great performance. They were selling cassettes there so I picked one up and listened to it everywhere I went. Turned a lot of people onto it. Sometime later it got stolen with a bunch of others. Haven't been able to find it since. Thanks for posting this. Brings back some great memories!!!
dude, oh man i totally remember that. Chris Malone here . . i don't remember stopping the show, but i do remember being kind of pissed off. so funny. thanks for the memory.

Hey brother Chris, if you see this, hope all is well, I'm in Florida nowadays, but looking to move back to Seattle if I can find work in the Entertaiment industry, hope you're doing well my brother.
Oh my gosh this really takes me back. You guys were so fabulous for 1985!!! And I even see me in the audience *giggle* Such fun!
wish they could do a new album , took me 25yrs to find there cd had it when it first came out in cassette---- reunion tour? would be nice
THAT BASS IS LENGEGARY. GOD BLESS SCOTT. BADASS BASS MAN. WE LOVE IT.
WOW that is pretty funny. It has benn a LONG LONG time since my eyes have seen that . . . I remember the choreographer that I didn't like . . Schuyler and I look pretty goofy. But excuse me for 1985 . . look at all that multi screen and awesome color . . was proud of that. Find me something before that splitting up the screen - damn. All and all pretty kewl - other then me . . . lol .Great shots of mark of course. Good as a full barrel of monkeys . . .
I have the original Perennial EP You're The Ones on vinyl, and this song was badly scratched. After much searching I came across this video, thanks for uploading and the great memories!!!

Mark Welling My Brother, how are you doing? I'm living in Florida now, but really miss Seattle. Are you Still in Seattle? Who are you playing with these days? I really miss all the good times we had, great memories of being on the road, and the whole bite of Seattle thing. I don't want to put my phone number on here, so here's my email, studiowork420@yahoo.com I heard Skylar is a session musician in Nashville, I did talk to Chris a few years back when I had Facebook. So good to hear from you my brother.
Big fan of MW particularly his drumming in the Detonation album 🇵🇭
Still have this album! Takes me back!!!
Yeah, this is the title track of the '83 EP. They followed up with an LP in 1986.
I still have my original EP cassette, and bought the CD you guys put out so I could have a nice copy digitally. I've never forgotten this song, it was played frequently on KISW back in the day and I still think it's legitimately one of the best songs of that era and genre. Really wish this was on Spotify. Rail and Q5 recordings are out there, you guys should be out there too since you were better than both. :-)
!!!(!!!) Grrreatest Hit!
PERENNIAL'S CD now available at Retrospectrecords(DOT)com!!
Looking forward to the CD re-release!
Love it.
where can I download this song????????? I love it.
Saw them in a Yakima WA.
Holy crap this literally sounds like if rush and Ratt had a baby
Awesome
what about ''devils preacher''?
I seen these guys in Puyallup at the Skate-In and it was amazing until one of the girls we were with yanked the gold cross necklace worn by Chris Malone off his neck while he was mid-set. . . instantly he just stopped singing until we forced her to give it back to him. What a show it was though, regardless of her stupidity

I was at the Skate-Inn every Fri & Sat for 2 years in the early 80's. Worked there for a short time. I still have this song on cassette.
