I love the Luke setup because not only can you sympathize with him more you can’t see his plight of why he is siding with his great grandfather. Also did y’all catch Sally moving on from Poseidon with the umbrella? Great mirroring of the first episode, and setup to Paul. I need season two announcement yesterday!!! 🤗🥰 Everyone did a good job but kudos go to the golden trio of Walker, Leah and Aryan for carrying this show on their backs and holding their own. And they are only going to get better as the years go on. Especially Leah, protect her at all costs. I can’t wait to see what they do next. 🤗

i loved this episode, every single aspect and all the things they've set up and foreshadowed. hands down an amazing finale and i'm so stoked for future seasons. i've been loving every change of the series and i come as a book fan who has read all 5 books. i went back and rewatched ep6 and even though it was admittedly the weakest of them it was still a pretty good episode (my main gripe was i wanted the kids to have a bit more fun in the casino BUT i did love everything else about it, so). i hope they get a renewal for s2 - s5 because i just HAVE to see this whole story through to the end. I still don't understand why Luke listens to Kronos. Sure, he ruled over a golden age, but he ate babies. His own babies nonetheless. Someone who does that is meant to fail or go too far in his rule. Good leadership starts by being good to yourself and those of your inner circle. It's because of Kronos his parents and grandparents are the way they are.

My only issue “…and fail to save what matters most in the end.”. What was what mattered most in the end that Percy failed to save? It wasn’t Sally because he was given a pearl by Poseidon so he did save her. It wasn’t the world because he returned the bolt and caused the war to end. It wasn’t any of his friends because no one’s dead. Was his friendship with Luke what mattered most? Am I missing something or is that a genuine issue. That and I didn’t really like that they killed Gabe off without making us feel like he deserved to die. Even the films did that better, showing that he was at least open to getting physically violent with Percy.

This last episode was so anti climactic and a disappointment. I loved the series so far but the last episode was a huge letdown. The fight between Ares and Percy wasn't as exciting as the book, Percy didn't take a flight to Olympus, Luke didn't summon a scorpion and so on. They ended the story too abruptly. After a good start it ended pretty flat ☹️😒

No, this was one of the best episodes. Fight scene with Ares was great. You’re really bothered about not seeing a plane flight? Scorpion was a change from the book, sure, but surely the sword fight is more exciting than a scorpion?

I love another streamer's take on people that complain how a book isn't 100% converted to TV, and how he feels they are really sad people and he wouldn't want to be around them. He said if they want book accuracy, then READ THE BOOK and stop watching the shows. He has a very good point! I loved this episode, and as a fan of the books, I think they did an awesome job throughout the entire series.

@@EjayT06 Ok I can behind the other changes, but the fight scene was way too short. It wasn't nearly as impressive as the book scene.

Luke summoned the scorpion to KILL Percy, book Luke flip-flopped from wanting to end Percy or recruit Percy.
