I think that both Per and Marie were extremely lucky to meet and have managed to stay together in band for so many years. This is an example of incredible friendship. A relationship based on trust and respect. They could always rely on each other. In the early years Roxette Marie played the first violin on stage, Per was a bit behind, creating and composing, but both were equally important in this duo. Between them there was no jealousy, only agreement. When Marie got sick, it turned out that she was not only delicate and sensitive, but unbelievably strong, she insisted that she would overcome the disease and return on the stage and she succeeded. But it was a different return, Marie was calmer, focused on singing and Per had to take over part of her solo parts and take on building contact with the audience. And in this situation they both found each other perfectly.I miss Marie, not only the artist, but above all a good and smart human.

Can't stop crying here. You know the feeling of expectation? Expectating something you were used to...thats Marie's voice. I craved for her voice in this song, just to be saddly reminded she's not here anymore. Our mind can play painfull tricks on us

Impossible for me. This is so, so Helena. Her own warm universe.

I love Helena's voice, but I somehow instinctively was waiting for Marie to start singing, this song is so made for her voice, although it's definitely Per, text and music wise. I also feel like the text is made to soothe both fans and Marie's immediate family, Micke, Josefin and Oscar. I wish them strength and peace...❤

Roxette was the band, that I discovered music through. Later came other groups, my taste moved to hard rock and heavy metal eventually, but still I come back to Roxette. Joyride was my firts album that I fel in love with. Joyride was my first song, that I fel in love with. I was able to listen the whole album two or three times in a row on my first walkman in my bed before I fel asleep. I my room covered all in Roxette poster. Walls, doors, furniture. Roxette t-shirts, Roxette badges. I was 11... Thank you Per, thank you Marie. You shaped my late childhood.

The same thing happened to me, I love music thanks to Roxette, my tastes moved from alternative music to the most extreme metal (death and black metal) but I always had a space for Roxette and similar bands, I will always have great respect for them.

I can't imagine anything more delicate, warm and beautiful than Helena singing this kind of perfect lullaby for us. She's a sensual angel. I don't miss any one of the turns of her voice... each subtle sign in her suggestive whispers seems to be new every time. I've noticed nobody cares about her. We're not really listening to the lyric by Per... At the same time we say it is Great and Meaningful, we're missing a Great part of its Meaning...
