While Russia builds churches, the West is closing many and either converting them to secular use, turning them into Mosques or demolishing them altogether. The West has turned its back on its tremendous Christian patrimony, in its pursuit of secular humanism and liberalism.

As a Canadian watching this, this is an extraordinary church. Imagine for 66.5 million dollars Russia builds this beautiful structure that will last for centuries. A country cannot even buy an American made F-35 that is a piece of junk for 100 million dollars. The west is lost.

I maybe watched this video more than 20times yet I can't get enough watching more. Every thing deeply attract me from the front pavilion ; the Jade color, the architecture, the masonry, the interior lighting, the acoustics, the ambient, the prayer chanting, the commemoration of the falling heroes and the outside drizzling rain. All of these combine elements have gave me a goosebumps.

Uma das mais belas igrejas que já vi, por enquanto apenas em vídeo. Já conheci as do centro de Moscou (Cristo Salvador e São Basílio), a de Peredelkino, (subúrbio de Moscou), de Vexkhoturie nos Urais, e de Yekaterinburgo (Na Krovi). Espero poder visitar novamente a Rússia em 2024 e sem dúvida irei ver essa maravilha da arquitetura russa!!! Deus abençoe e proteja a Rússia!!!

I have a wonderful memory of visiting the monastery town near Moscow, then called Zagorsk - in early 1990's when times were very hard for Russians .... Now called Sergiev Posad - St Serge Holy Trinity Monastery & Cathedral. It had started to snow .... and the beauty of the building took my breath away and I had a rare overwhelming sense of great reverence ....

@deecapetown I was in this monastery 10 years ago. I was impressed by what I saw. This monastery has a very rich history. It is much more interesting to visit such places if you first become familiar with the history.

I've never been so moved by a building before.

The words written under the arch tells of the difference between Russian message to each individual and that of the countries in the collective west. When they tell people: No one and nothing is forgotten, Russia is saying your time on earth matters. Western tells the opposite: Your life and reality is nothing and all is meaningless.

Great job, Yuliana and Pepe. 1000 years from History for us. I love that.

@@tamjansan1154 My uncle (which is her son) told me about her life, I never met my grandmother. I came late in the family.
