You cut to the box of artist charcoal so quickly I got disoriented. My mother had that same box since the 50’s or 60’s and now I have it. I love old art and crafting supplies. I just can not resist them in the wild. Good score on the lucite candles. I’ve only ever found 1 pair. Here’s a CRAZY BOLO for you … old trash cans. Plastic Rubbermaid trash cans from the 60’s and 70’s. Found one today for $2, but I put it down because the rim was broken. Twenty something couple walks in after me, wife sees it and she so excited to find the waste bin. Crazier the color, higher the value.

Oh that Ermi vintage children's lamp with the clown and balloons!! I was hoping you would pick that up. They can go for good money. Great job you two! Ok, ready for the NEXT one!!!

I don’t know if anyone mentioned yet or not, but the ratchet in the garage was branded. It was a Proto, they are stamped on the face where the sticker was (hope this helps you or others in the future 😁).

I did a bit of thrifting today,too. Haven't checked everything,but I think my best score was an audiobook about Roger Daltrey,narrated by Roger Daltrey. Picked it up for $2, and it sells for $15- $20. I'm happy with that!

I've got a few sets of those lucite candles with the gold flecks in them in a couple of different colours, I love them! Very collectible and sought after within the MCM collecting community.

You were lucky to spot that estate sale, great job. I like that you have a system for spotting good stuff at a sale, and while it didn't work perfectly this particular time, it's good to be systematic in your approach. I hope the rest of the trip went as well for you.

The candles are worth more.

I’ve learned my lesson on, not picking something up That’s interesting and then taking it with me while I Comp it. Too many times I’ve left it sitting on the shelf, comped it turn around and it is gone. It can be heartbreaking. Nice picks!

Just went to an estate sale at a hardware store! It was so packed that it was hard to move! Wish they'd done numbers! Love the gnomes and the candles! I always learn something new and today was darts! I was an art-ed major in the 70s and Grumbacher was all we used! Enjoy your travels!

Always open a Polaroid case. If it's a SX-70 that's £250 and often it's other photo stuff inside and not a junk camera.

Those are some great finds. You guys need a couple big IKEA type shopping bags for large sales like these.

Another great video! At 7:55 the weaved pot holders have a great sell through rate. Not a ton of money but worth picking up. A lot of people buy them and hang on their walls. I grab them when I see them until I have a few them sell them in a lot. Happy Thrifting!

Please remember that when you did Recap in Beauford SC when you were driving and showed items with writing, everything was backwards 🙂

At 7:50 that funny face pottery mug can be worth close to $25 depending on condition & subject matter. I didn’t see the price they were asking. I sold 2 of them to the same person last month. Paid $2.00 each & they sold quickly.

We got estate that are busy and pretty cheap in Janesville WI, but there are some that are expensive.

That’s how they do estate sales here, the number system; but if the house is big enough everyone goes in - we have up to 40-50 people in line and people start getting there at 5-6am for a 9am opening it’s cut throat around here 😅 great prices for most of the companies- we have 4 local estate sale companies in my area

Most of our estate sales don't hand out numbers. The best company we have allows you to email between certain times the day before. So there is an email list and an on site list. Email first, then on site allowed in. Very helpful. Very convenient. However, thanks to them I have found out internet/cell providers cannot be counted on having correct time stamps. I test sent an email to my husband today. I tapped to send once I saw 10:00am come up on my phone. He received it, but it was time stamped 9:58. His phone said 10 on the clock when I sent it. My sent emails time is stamped as 10. Go figure. Anyway, I wish more estate sales were run this way. I don't have to race over and sign some paper the day before or get there way early to sign.

Those lucite candles sell very well on Whatnot. I’ve seen those sell in there for much more than $30. Esp if you sell them around Christmas.

This summer & winter Olympic games this year people will be buying things , golf is part of the Olympics this year.

so the Clown with the Balloons is a Lamp I had as a Child in the late 70s early 80s when I saw u show that i was like O my childhood lamp

All estate sales here have numbers. I was outside waiting for a number at 7:30 for the last one I went to. Opened at 9. 11:51 The inevitable pinking shears. The standard brand too. Not worth much unless they're brand spanking NIB because you can't sharpen them. That orthodox cross laying on the silver box at 12:29 might have really been good. . I'd have checked the little animals over too. I found a Royal Doulton doggie the other day for $2.50 in a thrift and later found asking prices of $800 but the realistic resale is about $100. (no cell service? No problem. Knew it was good, just not how good.) Not the first time either. It's always worth checking them over. 15:40 The lucite candles were white hot a few years ago. Sold like hotcakes.
