That's why I miss SpongeBob season 1 to 3. It was so stupid in a funny and good way.

As a kid, I thought those two times Squid fell off a cliff and exploded was because of a random mine field.

Only the true fans in this comment section will know that there is no explosion when Squidward counts off the band for practice, but rather the windows shatter cause of how loud the band plays

This is one of my absolute favorite gags in media. Something that can't explode getting hit hard and exploding regardless. I literally laugh every time.

the band explosion will always be my favorite. first, the absurdity of the flag twirlers twirling so hard that they fly into the air, then the fact that even though they're catapulted into the VAST SKY with so much space unoccupied by the blimp that is just THERE FOR SOME REASON they somehow fly right into it and it EXPLODES, the rest of the character's turning and shielding themselves from the blast being such a realistic depiction, and then the way they just stop in the middle of the road to pay respects with that one guy playing the trumpet is just comedy gold me.

To be fair the pie was a bomb but not a damn nuke tho 😭😭

The first one where Squidward explodes after laying on the ground for a second gets me every time, such a great gag.

I love how they had a whole episode based off a pie being a bomb, and Squidward gets the pie right to the dome 😂

I always think the one with Sandy capturing Patrick will always be the funniest.
