I grew up near this man and will never forget the first time I walked into a venue he was playing at. He is amazing.

Had the pleasure of seeing him at a really small venue in northern california before the pandemic. He's even more amazing in person. Find myself coming back to this song almost daily.

I just saw him on TPB Podcast other day, heard "honest man" and was captivated... have been listening to many songs since... a truly great musician; that voice has so much power and depth to it and his emotions come through along with the words. Lyrics with a meaning by a man who seems to mean them.

I watch this video over and over. I've seen many, many live concerts across many genres and ensembles. Although a simple song, and only a solo artist, and humble surroundings, this remains one of the finest musical performances I've ever seen.

We grew up in the same area, western New Brunswick, and I have seen him perform in Halifax, NS, a few times. He can really belt them out!

I found him the exact same way, watched In Your Eyes ( my favorite movie now... thanks to Netflix) and then searched for the songs and "She Comes Down" and "Resurrection Fern" by Iron & Wine

I want to be his friend. That was so nice. I've listened to parts of about 20 versions of this song looking for one that sounds the way i want it to. The way i heard a girl on the bus singing it, years ago. I went through all the big names and was thinking after this one bombed, I'd just rely on the memory of that girl i heard singing it. Well....this is by far the greatest version EVER!!! LOVE IT!!!!!
