I have never seen Jeff Beck play this the same way twice in concert. It's a classic gospel progression, and Jeff would wring every ounce of soul out of it, from it's beautiful, lilting simplicity to vibrato gymnastics (like on the record). Excellent selection, Simon!

Simon, a thought : 'Grow Old Along With Me' is one of John Lennon's most beautiful, most memorable, musical compositions (in my view a masterpiece) .. it has a quiet grandeur, a dignity and spirituality like no other song .. perhaps you could make a video about this ?
