Since his Taiwan days already heard about him, but his "不駡粗話" & “我还是我” was the one who got me subscribed to him ... very creative ，bold and sometimes relatable ! highly recommend to listen to those 2 比较冷 songs

He grew up in a small town in Malaysia but dares to venture out into the world to pursue his passion. Much respect!

He has many great songs. Be it the earlier works like Muar Series. And that 1 album which he worked with artists from the region I find Rain in Ho Chi Minh one of my favorites. There is a song which I am not sure if it is still on his channel where he let followers to write new lyrics for Muar Love song. And the winner was a song about LGBT. Hope he would continue to write more songs and hopefully his movie career can take off as well.

If you know Namewee, you'll know that he's one that breaks social norms and have no fear in taking things to the extreme whilst bringing out problems that you can't see from the outside. His songs like Negarakuku and TNB for examples are good things that highlight issues that Malaysia faces but due to their narrow views, they view him as a social pariah and a total terrorist to social stability which is NOT the case. He's a genius all around and not only that, he's also a good director who has done quite alot of movies on his own like Bangalasia, Babi (That one really SIBEH controversial but award winning), Nasi Lemak 2.0 & 1.0 and he also acted in quite alot of movies as an actor like the recent All In and another one where he acted with Mark Lee "Mark Kor" in Petaling Street Warrior.
