Hello David. I've been following your channel fo a while and every time I watch one of your interviews, I learn something new and useful. Also, I've been a journalist for over 20 years, doing loads of interviews and I really like how you seem to help your guests bring out the best of what they have to say. Good job on that. 👍
Thank you Phillip for sharing your experience in such humble and down to earth manner. And thank you David for all your hard work to create such consistent fantastic, educational and life changing interviews.
How crazy, when I started my associates degree in cybersecurity & digital forensics 2 yrs ago, one of my first classes required that I find someone in the industry to interview. Philip Wylie was who I found on Twitter, he granted me a few questions, but I had no idea who he was. Just figured he was joe schmoe. When I heard David call this guy 'Philip', I laughed to myself, 'what if it's THAT Philip', and sure as hell IT IS. How nuts. Thanks Philip, I just graduated last month. Cybersecurity & digital forensics, and Network administration technologies degrees.

Phillip is awesome. Great interview.

I've ordered the book. Thank You very much!
Really it was an amazing interview with a lot of valuable information and experiences that @PhillipWylie have. The important thing I noticed in this interview was that phillip has a good trait which everyone doesn't have, he is a great human being and good instructor and even his motivation in this video made me someone else, he is really I legend and I really liked the way he explain things with a nice and clear way. Also the other thing is that you have to help others even with the small and narrow knowledge that you have because it'll help someone or even safe his life, and doing something for the community will open more doors for you. Likewise David is doing a great work for the community and that is really something honorable, it helped young people like me who want to break in to the cybersecurity industry. We're really thankful for your efforts to bring in everyone in the industry to share his experience even the basics.
Love your videos! You always ask what would you tell your young self. You should add what would you tell your twin self who doesn't know anything and just now wanting to get into this.
Another great interview 👏👏. Thank you David❤.

Hello again David, I'd say I'm really good at OSINT and hacking compared to my age, which is 16, I love OSINT and I can track pople and create a dox of them with emails, addresses and passwords, etc etc. I also have been hacking on HackTheBox and picoCTF for 4 years, I also code in Python, HTML/CSS/JS, C and a bit of Golang. I'd like do ask do you have any tips where I could work maybe for free for practice in the summer. And btw nice video again, like always, keep it up! 🤙
Is the uncut version available ?❤
When I went to college I took electronics. I bought a PC because my spelling was crap and if I could use a computer for papers it would correct my spelling. Anyway after my first year the college shut down the electronics program because electronic repair had lost a lot of ground. Fax machine repair tech made 6 figures at a time when that was really big money. But the bottom fell out within like a year because fax machines became disposable. But the college gave me a choice to go to another college and get full credit for what I had taken to continue in electronics or I could enroll in their new computer engineering program. Best decision I ever made. 27 years later in the field I and did really well for myself. Like Phillip I was a CNA but also got certs in Red Hat, (hardest cert ever by the way) vmware, veeam, microsoft, and really a bunch of others. The last pen test report I wrote was nearly 100 pages. This field has been very good to me.

because some articles on Google says not every Wi-Fi adapter can enter monitor mode
a lot of jobs i see for cyber security requires a bachelors degree and comptia security+ do i really need a bachelors degree to be in cyber security?
So which is the best VM software for 2023 on WIN?
Is the ejptv2 certification is really worth it 🧐🧐🧐
sir, can you use any Wi-Fi adapter to hack, like USB wifi dongle MT7601 and others like mini USB wifi adapters

Greetings David ji. Read the book despite negative reviews on Amazon. Turns out the reviews were true. My earlier comment was deleted but I once again reiterate. David ji, kindly share resources that a person with negligible financial resources can utilise. As even if it paints just 25% of the picture the remaing can be gained once they get the job and grow further. I will understand that you despise criticism if you go ahead and delete this comment David ji.
