    Im new on this camera, also quite new on film photography, I'm a bit confused about reading frame on frame counter, for example : I think or I feel I took picture more than two frames inbetween 4-6 indicator numbers on frame counter, would you explain how this thing's work? Much appreciate!

    I honestly don't really pay much attention to the frame counter, I just make sure that it increments in the beginning. If you want to test your frame counter, sacrifice a canister and try shooting & advancing it until you reach the end of the frame while observing the frame counter. It might even work even without film loaded in it. I can't try it out because I don't have the camera anymore.

    @@DigitizedChaos But if you take pictures, then you will waste them? Why is it important that you are in the beginning of the count?

    @@chillslastsforever Exactly, you don't want to waste film. It's not that important, what's important is to check and see that when you advance your film, the frame counter increments, the squiggly thingamajigs move & the rewind knob moves.

    I know this is from a while ago, and a weird question, but will pressing the shutter to get the counter back to one not take pictures?

  • @DigitizedChaos

    @DigitizedChaos

    It will take pictures. So as long as you see the squiggly lines moving & the film rewind knob moving when you advance the film crank, you don't need to really set it to one. That way you can get a few more shots from your film.

    hi, i just recently bought this. Im curious if it will still keep shooting even though i used up the 36 shots or will it lock up. How would i know if i used all the shots already? just wondering. Thank you.

    You should feel resistance when advancing the film (i.e. lock up, as you said) if the film has been fully used up. If it still keeps advancing way after shot 36, it probably wasn't loaded properly. In a dark bag/dark room, open up the film back and feel if the film was loaded properly.

    On the shutter there's a little white pushdown button, and an arrow that can point to L, M and I think B or something. It's possible that you have the knob set to L which means 'lock' and the film is advanced and ready to take a photo. When the camera is ready to take a photo, you can't crank it again (which prevents you from skipping a frame by accident). And if you also have the knob set to Lock, then you can't take a photo (I'm sure Lock is to prevent you from accidentally taking a photo when you're travelling etc). Is that possible that you have it set in that way?
