You REALLY needed to let this one play to the end...I'll tell you why in a second. This one is STILL my all-time favorite of their original songs, and the most fun video they ever did. When they were coming up with the concept for the video, they sent out snippets of the song over social media and thru their website, asking fans to submit clips of themselves singing the song. That's where all the home videos came from. And there were actually FOURTEEN celebrity and/or KZread personality cameos amongst the clips, including Nick Lachey (you saw him), Tori Kelly, Todrick Hall, Anna Kendrick, Maisie Williams (you saw her too), and several others. For the closing shots, they invited any fans who wanted to show up to the Santa Monica Pier at a certain time one late afternoon...and THOUSANDS showed up. They ALL got to be in the video. You should have played it to the end because Pentatonix does an extended credits sequence in this showing all the fans who were at the pier.

This song has gotten some recognition. I believe it was used for Thursday Night Football a few years ago with different lyrics. I know it was played during the swimsuit competition at the most recent Miss Universe Pageant.

To be honest, there are SO MANY Christmas songs he'd need to do one daily beginning pretty soon to fit them in. At least "Making Christmas" fits nicely into October, so that one can come first! :D He's going to just FLIP on that one. :D

@@felicialovesnkotb Yes, me, too - but ONLY PTX. But most reactors, I've found, seem wedded to the idea that they need to wait for the "right time of year." I really, REALLY want him to react to "Making Christmas." A) it's a fantastic piece - not really even a cover, since the movie version is wildly different from how they arranged it, and B) it's hilarious. I love PTX but for humor I usually turn to Superfruit - PTX takes their stuff very seriously. So when they're funny I really love it!

This album debuted at number one on the Billboard charts, a first for an a cappella group. Everything from that album was great. Love Again is an awesome original from early on. Still waiting for Aha, Singapore The Star Vista. You must watch The Wizard of Ahhhs by Todrick Hall ft Pentatonix. Todrick went to the same high school as the trio.

Todrick did not attend Martin High like the trio did. He attended Bowie high school also in Arlington. For some reason this story keeps getting spread in the comment sections. Probably because one person thought it since they lived in the same town and since they knew each other before their fame hit and they said it and others followed but if you google Todrick hall High school it will show that’s not true. Todrick is also 6 years older than the trio so he wouldn’t have been in school with them anyway.

For as great as PTX covers are, their originals are 1000% better. If you want to hear the beauty of Kirsten's voice listen to Water. It is so amazing and the support vocals are breath taking. But all of the original are amazing.

Travis: there is a Live version of them doing Cracked/Water/Michael Jackson which was filmed by MTV so it is really good visual/sound

Another reason to love PTX--they didn't just include clips of tv stars, movie stars, famous singers and popular youtubers, they mixed in fan videos. How sweet is that? Not only can those fans say they were in a PTX video, but they can also say they were in a video with Maisie Williams (a huge fan of Superfruit and was on their channel twice), Nick Lachey, Victoria Justice, Grace Helbig, Anna Kendricks, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Todrick Hall, Tori Kelly, Tyler Oakley, etc. And to invite their fans to come to the pier to join in? Just amazing. This song is soooo kickass that a version of it with new lyrics was used as the opening for Thursday Night Football with PTX coming out of the tunnel and NFL players singing along to the chorus.

Scot had never done anything with a hard vocal fry (that raspy forceful loud voice) but learned to do it for a very quick part in another song. The others liked the way it came out for him and encouraged him to practice it so he could use it more. He said he didn't think he had that in him. This is the first song he where used a lot of it. This one is so fun and I love the way they lay it down peacefully at the end, like they do a lot of their songs.

This is the PTX Anthem. It is epic, uplifting, inspiring, catchy, and a total BOP! It is by far one of my top favorites of theirs.

You should watch their popspring 2016 performance it's 3 other originals from this album and the evolution of MJ live! It's about15 minutes but so worth it.

That was the opening song on their early concert tour. They would walk in from different directions while singing using wireless mikes and get everyone spun up for the show.

I knew I could hardly wait to hear and see you react to this song - absolutely one of my favorites of their originals. Besides all the fantastic singing and the well-known personalities that appear in it, many of the other people appearing are their top tier Patreon supporters, who each got the thrill of having their two seconds in the video. Can you imagine how exciting that would be? In any event, you didn't disappoint me one little bit. Worth the wait to hear it! Do it again for all I care. I never tire of it.

@@hempchimp Whenever they did a Q & A on Superfruit and someone asked what their favorite sport was, they just looked blankly at the camera except for one time when Mitch answered "naked wrestling". Scott also said he played volleyball, but they both said repeatedly they knew nothing about most sports which is why I find it so funny to watch them get gifted jerseys from local pro teams at the arenas where they perform. I'm sure they appreciate the gesture though.

They did a calendar shoot and one month had the theme of football. Mitch said his team was the Paris catacombs so football is definitely not his niche. (Fluffy little bunnies are though)

Told ya it would make you happy. :D Last night I was listening to a "mix" that KZread assembled for me and heard one I'd never heard before called "Rose Gold," from 2015. It only has a lyrics video - nothing visual, but in some ways I like that because that means I can totally concentrate on the singing. And I'll just say that I was blown away by how it was from 2015, and yet was as vocally perfect as if it was off their most recent album. It was written by Avi, Scott and two people I'm not familiar with. I'm not asking for a reaction video but you might want to cue it up and just listen to it. It's not a "bop" kind of song, but I found it very pleasing and Scott's vocals were just extraordinary.

I love everything Pentatonix does, but this one just rocks out and is pure FUN! Knew you were going to love it.

and around the part KO raps, you can see few fans doing a tippity-tap-clappy choreography sitting in a line, that's a throwback reference to PTX's White Winter Hymnal (a Fleet Foxes cover) music video ☺️ oh right, you can soon hype up for their Halloween/Christmass-y transitional covers 👀 and then just let it go with their Holyday songs 😁

When you go back and watch it again, notice all the "celebrity fans". It think you noticed some during your reaction. There are many. All the people at the end are fans, too.
