The Popspring performance is my favorite version of Can't Sleep Love. The song they opened with, Cracked, was original. I think Scott wrote it. The song they closed with, Water, was an original written by Kirstie. She's a wonderful songwriter.

So glad you saw this! I love Water, and I think this performance is even better than the studio version. The bass and percussion seems to hit harder, and Mitch and Scott add little accents in the background. And of course Kirstin's voice is just ethereal

I love that Kirstie and Mitch played a bit of homage to Japanese culture here by dressing as anime characters. They remind me of a pop version of raggedy Ann and Andy.

He doesn't like a lot of new music but I can get him to listen when PTX covers older songs. I put on Imagine for him and set my phone down when my mother called me for something. I didn't realize autoplay was on and dad brought my phone back to me and says he didn't know the last few songs (he thought can't sleep love and the rap were 2 separate songs.) He was handing back my phone when the Evolution of MJ started. He takes my phone and says "I do know the Jackson 5" and went to sit back down and listen to it some more. All of their original songs are really outstanding. All three of those came off their self titled original album Pentatonix (2015). Great reaction!

I know I already commented but I was only halfway through the video. 😁 So now I want to comment after the end. The last song Kirstie wrote with help from Kevin and singer-songwriter Audra Mae. This was a fantastic reaction, thank you so much Travis! I'm surprised you were able to stay in your seat and not get up to dance 😉

This is my favorite for showing people who are wondering whether PTX is any good live, without studio enhancements. The sound engineers on this show were amazing. And I love to watch PTX interacting with the audience. Travis, the #PTXperience travelogue videos are fantastic this way too, although you don't get entire songs, just clips. I don't think that you would necessarily do reactions to them, but they are tons of fun to watch - you would enjoy them.

Superfruit did a lip sync to can’t sleep love. They were trying to get it played on the radio and thought if they played it, then we could Shazam it to maybe help getting it played. Of course they couldn’t help sometimes singing along. Too funny!!!

This is the music from their album Pentatonix, which debuted at number one on Billboard. All but one was original and the album included Sing which you’ve already reacted too. At some point, react to Queen’s Live Aid performance. It is 20 minutes so a little long for a reaction video, but so many of our young adults don’t know the brilliance of Freddie Mercury and Queen. Excellent reaction Travis! This Popspring video is such fun. Pentatonix as always delivered A+. All five of them .....every time. Can't Sleep Love is one of my PTX original favorites. The Popspring performance of Can't Sleep Love is great. All the tunes and tones and ear candy of the recorded version plus Mitch rapping. The expression on your face when Mitch walked with the microphone stand was almost as priceless as the expression on your face when Mitch squealed. Priceless! That Evolution of Michael Jackson is mastery of precision, timing and selection of songs.

Water is my favorite off the album the songs besides Evolution of Michael Jackson came from, especially when Kevin comes in with those high notes near the end. It was so fun watching this with you. I'm glad you waited a while to watch it, because you know everyone's voice and how they put things together. This was professionally done, unlike the phone recordings we usually get to see. When you see them live, the bass and beats sound much louder than they do in their videos. The last song "Water" I saw live, and it was a highlight of the evening. It was mostly written by Kirstie, with arranging help from Ben Bram and Avi and Kevin. The harmonies, Kirstie's lead, and the amazing backdrop were breath-taking. Every time one of those water drops hit, Avi shook the arena with his "BOOM"! Also, you made a funny face during the bridge, when you heard those high notes - that was Kevin! There is another live performance I love, their cover of Megan Trainor's "No". Cracked (Avi & Scott collab), Water (Kirstie & Kevin collab), and Can’t Sleep Love (all collab) were some of their very first originals, believe it or not! Quite the portent of things to come! And you’re right, pairing them with one of their uniquely original Evolution of creations just made it outstanding. Sometimes Live video is better than Official video just for the energy or emotion. Wish I could make it to their December concert, maybe next time ☹️.
