People always say Pentatonix members are talented, but it's not just talent. They all work really hard, learning their craft. O Holy Night is entirely about Christmas, i.e., the birth of Jesus.

I saw them in concert during the Christmas tour, and they all sounded amazing. However, it was Kirstie and Matt that blew me away. I’ve never heard either of them sound better, live or in an official video. Matt’s bass was resonant and booming - you could feel it. Kirstie’s voice was clear and so incredibly strong. I’ve seen them live a few times now, and this latest was my favorite.

They are evolving with each new song, their work ethic is phenomenal. But, they stay true to their roots and have not let success and fame influence their down to earth beginnings. I bet RCA is now kicking themselves for dropping PTX after winning a $100,000 recording contract. I guess they didnt think they would make much money on a a capella group. Yes, this is a direct reference to the Savior 's (Jesus Christ) birth. And yes, PTX is evolving, coming out with some of their absolutely best music yet this year. It may be getting beyond the Christmas season, but please check out their new releases of Pure Imagination/Christmas Time is Here and Kiss From a Rose, both of which are absolutely amazing. Also, Kirsti and Kevin's new original, Please Santa Please is fun. Their Christmas album from last year was nominated for another Grammy, but this year's album has multiple songs that could easily win a Grammy for each one.

They have evolved even more! I was blown away, we saw them in concert last Wednesday for the Christmas Concert in DFW. My head is still there. 🌟😀🤗🌟 Unforgettable.

It is THE Christmas song.All the other fun stuff is great but Christmas is a religous holiday primarily about the birth of Christ.

Ok I'm not Christian but I know what December 25th means to Christianity and this song celebrates His birth so... yeah it's a Christmas song. Having said that, I think I know what you mean by the confusion. It is DEFINITELY more suited to being sung inside of a Church than being sung by carolers at the front door or to listen to while waiting in line for Santa Claus.

This is just stunning. ❤ And it's totally about Jesus' birth, which IS Christmas! Jesus being born is the real reason for Christmas, so this song about the night Jesus was born makes it a total Christmas song! Just FYI. 😊

Sean, you missed Kiss from a Rose (live Vevo edition). It will blow you away. In my opinion, PTX DID evolve and elevated their skill levels over the past few years. My guess is that they just worked on the foundations and fundamentals during the Pandemic and now that they've been back on Tour for over a year now, they are hitting a new stride. They love what they do and they love each other and it shows.

Yes they elevated….even more. Best version ever. Gorgeous, stunning! I will echo that you MUST react to Kiss From a Rose and Pure Imagination/Christmas Time is Here (both live Vevo recordings). I recommend that you vacuum first though because your jaw is going to be spending a lot of time on the ground 😜. Do not understand at all the questioning of "oh Holy Night" as a Christmas song. Do you know what Christmas is? It is the celebration of the day Christ was born. This song is talking about the night Christ was born. And the blessings Christ brought to the World. It is the DEFINITION of a Christmas song.
