You really MUST see how they are in the studio together. Watch The Recording Of Evergreen. Not only how they create but also how they gel together almost like one soul, one musician and one family. I think when you watch the short film you'll see how encouraging they are as friends. It's not an exaggeration to say these 5 love each other. You can see it on stage and also in the studio. There's no selfishness as to who gets the most lines in the song, it's always, who sounds the best for that particular part of the song. When the group found out that they got a spot on The Sing-Off, Kirstin cried because people would now get to hear Mitch's voice. Now that's tight. ❤

I think she said she would even sit outside Mitch's bathroom window to listen to him sing in the shower. They are a special group to have that much care for each other.

Absolutely stunning. Definitely near perfection. They just released their version of Creep (from their performance on the masked singer as the California Rolls).

I know ptx isn't everyones type of music but hard to deny how good they are, sure as of the last few years people have stopped watching every video and reaction videos, every ptx video was pulling crazy numbers but im glad people are still finding their music this late cause they are super talented, love your reactions always.

Many cultures throughout history held the belief that perfection is only for the gods, so they would leave a small imperfection in whatever object or building they made, to avoid angering the gods. This song was originally by Tears for Fears, and it sounds nothing like this--it's a fast-tempo, New-Wavey track with lots of synths and strange sound effects. This is definitely a fresh take on it. Why not try their Popspring 2016 performance? It's three original songs and one medley, and you can hear what their own songs are like, and how well they sound live.

This is so awesome. PTX is just amazing. Glad to see you reacting to their stuff and as many reaction videos as I've seen of them, I've never seen someone with your beatboxing skill comment in depth on what Kevin is doing. (even though this one didn't really have any)

This song was released late summer 2020 during the Covid pandemic. The title was really appropriate for the time. I know they filmed and recorded this separately. Not sure if they were even in the same building. When lockdowns started they were in different cities.

I grew up listening to the original and was psyched when they released this. I vividly remember sitting at home in the height of COVID lockdown listening to this for the first time and suddenly someone was cutting a 50# bag of onions. I think this was the first time we really heard Mitch & Matt duet together and I had to re-listen to it at least a dozen times. So, so good.

The original Tears for Fears version of this was up-tempo, in contrast to the lyrics. This is based on the Gary Jules version from the Donnie Darko movie soundtrack, which is the version most covers follow. The video is also based on Donnie Darko.

This is actually a cover of the Gary Jules version of Tears for Fears. Gary has a video that goes with it, and it’s pretty dark. PTX has made it achingly beautiful, haunting and emotional. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
