You don't need to include extras in your letters (it's optional) all that really matters is the letter, well in my opinion but yet again it depends on the person you pen pal with :)

I have a pen pal! She’s super nice:) she doesn’t mind if you have extras or not. The only REALLY important thing is the letter.

I currently have 3 penpals and they send me very minimal extras to me but they either write the letters in fancy postcards (which I love collecting) and send me cute stickers only. i'm sorry, the envelope was actually a gift so i'm not sure where it's from! :( but i'm sure you can find envelopes similar to it on amazon or aliexpress. i hope this helps!!
