Hey just wanted to let you know that even though soloists/rappers are overshadowed by kpop groups internationally, they definitely aren't in Korea! Soloists like IU, Loco, etc are actually really popular in Korea, even more so than idol groups. From what I heard, its seems the general public actually prefer hiphop & ballads more than kpop, which is more popular with the young generation

lol no, i think the flower in the car represents her scent/presence considering the song is about the the perfume the scene in the car with the flowers describes the scent shes left behind

Apropos the little chat in this video about Korea's music industry, I think you should check out a video called The Late Capitalism of KPOP to get a high level picture of why things are the way they are in Korea. Don't take it all as gospel, though, there are plenty of corrections to be found in the comment section, but it's a neat top down view on how they got where they are and why.
