Where do you get your footage from? I'd love Nick Van Exel, Grant Hill, Manu Ginobili, Sam Cassell, Michael Redd, Reggie Miller, Andre Miller and I can never get enough of White Chocolate and Rod Strickland!

He was my fav back then. Wore his jersey everyday one summer😂

Gayle Sayers’ career was cut short by injury but the NFL still put him in the hall of fame. The NBA should do the same for penny.

I get quite emotional at what a beautiful basketball player he truly was until the injuries. Anyone who loves basketball can hopefully see it too. Special player.

I enjoyed watching him play. And for me he is a class above many players today even lebron.

His post-moves were insane for a big guard. The crossover on Pippen was 🔥

"in his prime" The crazy part is that we were robbed of Penny's prime. The knee injury happened just a few years into his pro career. We have no idea how good he could have really been.

All of us who grew up through the 90's remember what Penny was like before the the knee problems. Even when he was with the Suns he was still effective but the knee problem just unfortunately slowed Penny down.

Penny was that guy, for real, for real. A special talent

Penny was so athletic and charismatic on the court and outside. "Tyra Banks, fool...!"

Besides Michael and Kobe this is the only player that really wows me.

He was AMAZING pre-injuries..

He was my favorite active player. He was the full package. There is really nothing he was missing from the sheer basics to star pedigree on the court. He was a master where his (young) age did not matter.

Picture Penny, Grant Hill and T-Mac without the injuries…. Imagine facing that lineup….

Used to play him all the time in nba live 99 and making 90 point in a game hehe.

This is my favorite. I had his posters, mechanical pencils, etcetera. My spirit just really connected to Mr. Hardaway. I've gone on record a number of times stating that he's not revered enough. These brothas put in way too much work to not get revered. Mr. Hardaway done to' up his ligaments and just all types of injuries. To be set off to the side as "He was great, but his injuries..." is completely unacceptable, yo. It's not right. Shoot, most players done had a sprained ankle or some type of injury. Anyway, watching him play brings back so many memories.

Back in the 90s many said Grant Hill as the next Jordan, But Jordan himself said in an interview that he see it more in Penny Hardaway.

A Mj,Magic and Iceman Gervin hybrid he was more than two players thats what made him so phenomenal.

PRIME PENNY was like a combination of Iceman Gervin and Oscar Robinson with NBA JAM hops at 6'7 .

He was the smoothest player ever, just jogging up the court was aesthetically pleasing to watch and had the most insane footwork/post up (yes, better than Jordans i think), his ballcontrol with his body/foot coordination was just so nifty, elusive, twitchy, slithery (cant find the word!).

My favorite player growing up! What If.....

My most favourite basketball player of all time (aside Kobe Bryant, RIP) His injiries and trade-aways from the Magic really saddened me

I cant even imagine i grew up in northern California and was such a huge penny Hardaway fan i had his jersey when i was 10

He was penny special it s too bad about the injuries but this man should in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield Massachusetts

Penny was All-NBA a few times went to finals in his second year he was a,4-5 time NBA Allstar, Olymic gold medalist All-star rookie mvp,second runner up rookie of the year but we all know he should of won that over C.Webb,he has accolades that alot of players that's in the Hall of Fame don't have plus he revolutionized the point guard hybrid position and made the game more popular so why isn't he being inducted in the Hall of Fame?

As a Magic fan, I wish I was able to see the Penny & Shaq duo more as a kid. I really don't remember & know much about that time period as a kid. I'm more familiar w/ the Doc Rivers HC era w/ late Patrick Ewing, Tracy McGrady,Drew Gooden,Grant Hill days as a kid. I also remember Mike Miller being on the team & Tracy McGrady being pissed when they traded him to the Grizzlies for Drew Gooden (I really loved Drew Gooden) because that was his best friend on that team. Those were some of my earliest memories being a Magic fan & wish I was able to have the Shaq & Penny days as my earliest memories as a Magic fan.

Penny when he came into the league as a rookie was the first player ever I’ve seen being compared to MJ, only if he would of never got injuries 😢

Why isn't he going into the Hall of Fame but players that barely accomplished anything are they're all deserving but not before him the cultural impact he had on the league was a game changer when I see guys like Tim Hardaway,Manu Ginobli who was great bench player about to be Hall of Famer I think to myself Penny must of pissed some NBA heads off cause no way these guys should go in before him Penny should be in the Naismith NBA Hall of Fame cause he also had productive years even after surgeries to his knees so wassup NBA put that man in the Hall of Fame he revolutionized the game and was even more popular than Mj at one point before injuries he held it down for some years as one of the top players in the game.
