The death penalty isn’t immediate. For most on death row, it never happens. It’s not like they just line him up and shoot him. I’d hate to live somewhere without due process. There’s usually a massively long process of appeals as well.

I mean, even if he is going to stay here, he still has to have a trial in Brazil, right? Or is there some way they could skip that and just find him guilty of bother murders here in the U.S? Or did he already get tried and sentenced in Brazil?

@@Melissa0774 he got sentenced in Brazil and escaped from jail. Subsequently managed to run off to the U.S. I read on the news that his first murder was an acquaintance that owned him money. His ex girlfriend only found out he was a fugitive after breaking up with him when he started to threaten to kill her.

Potentially unpopular opinion... If this man is such a risk and danger to society, why string him along in a life sentence and not string him in another way from an object. Unapologetic

honestly whatever u like it or not police and military need to use them. heck even military uses dolphins as well and birds. u can look at how many animals they used. and dogs are useful to find bombs better than humans can so dogs can safe a lot of lives
