If we fail to make playoffs this season then next season hot seat for him and could be his last.

Halfway through his second season you could just feel Franklin wasn’t cut out for this. 2016 gave us hope but it was fleeting. He is a D2 level coach way over this head and needs to go

2016..Franklin was fortunate it wasnt his recruits/he just guided ship that year.

Spot on. He still got blown the fuck out by a conference rival in 2016 during the regular season. Not only wasn’t close, it wasn’t even competitive. His one achievement in life is a fraudulent “conference championship.” Joke of a coach.

The reality is this school never should have extended him in 2021. He did a good job rebuilding the program and left it in a very good spot for a new head coach to take over but instead they gave him a ten year extension and surprise surprise every season since then has been ground hog day.

Do you feel that in spite not fixing these problems that PSU will make the 2024 expanded college football playoff? Thanks.

@@LockedOnNittanyLions On paper, 10-2 should be good enough to get the 3rd B1G bid (after O$U and Oregon) but Iowa could ruin the party. Their schedule is so easy that their offense could be the usual hot garbage and they could still finish 11-1.

DeLuca was rated 7th best LB in the BIG 10.

Yurcich was the first choice. That’s why they got rid of Ciaracoca. If you go back all you heard was how MY was available and JF fired KC and went after MY when he was available. Funny how the story changes.

The offensive coordinator upgrade is the most important change that could be made

It was really the only "upgrade" they made. And that is what we wanted to convey.

When the HC isnt held accountable for OC hire blunders..why should it be any different. Its the new PSU culture..be my friend/pay you lots of $...challenge PSU wrongdoings..your gone.

No worry...8-4 season will be blamed on Beaver Stadium construction...another football excuse.

Maybe we need Andy for head coach?

Kotelnicki is on the right trajectory to be a head coach in a few years.

After listening to you guys, sounds like a losing season. To get super talents in the transfer portal, you need a top NIL checkbook. PSU’s NIL is not near as good as programs we are competing against.

And who’s job is it to get the money for NIL? James Franklin, the school has unlimited money and one of the largest alumni bases in America, no excuse as to why he hasn’t made the CFP once before this season.
