Same with me. Though, when it’s winter for those penguins, it’s summer where I live and I like to keep my entire body cool by a very special technique ------------- > Swimming like the mother penguins after they laid their eggs

I think the sad part is that sometimes they go through all that and being very uncomfortable just for the egg not to hatch for whatever reason

A more likely and even more cruel scenario is that that egg hatches but the father has to abandon the chick because the mother fell victim to a predator.

This penguin documentary is pretty amazing.

​@@MayaxYabai Sometimes the mother Emperor penguin fails to return (usually because they got eaten by a predator like leopard seals or orcas), and the starving father can eventually wait no longer and abandons the egg. All those months of starving and enduring the brutal cold to try and raise your child wasted.

I am glad that I was born as a human being...

its a hard life for them!

It makes think of being hot considering the fact that the seasons in the Southern Hemisphere are the opposite of the seasons in the Northern Hemisphere.
