Person in white form are hight school students. They come all over provinces in Indonesia after some difficult test. Its a honour to be the one of that team.

What a nice reaction like always..love it..and we really appreciate you for reacting to the ceremony to commemorate our country's independence day.. FYI..the troops dressed in white are neither soldiers nor police..they are high school students who selected from all provinces in Indonesia and then trained to become flag-raising troops for several months which change every year..so their chance to become a flag-raising troop at the presidential palace is once in a lifetime..that's why it will be a pride for them, and for their parents as well as the school and the province where they come from also..once again thanks for the reaction..regard from jogja-indonesia..🙏👍😀

A little late but... Red are Presidential Guards. Green are Army. White are Navy. Light Blue are Air Force. Grey are Police. Blue are Armed Forces Academy (TNI) Cadets. Dark Red are Police Academy (POLRI) Cadets. The other white, the ones with flag etc. are High School students.

I respect those girls in the white uniform. They have to smile all the time while doing all that. Respect to the Paskibraka 🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩

So what you just saw is the flag raiser troops, not a police or an army but high school students from all 34 province in Indonesia, so every province send out 2 delegates of high school students, one boy and one girl so there are 68 members which divided into two teams, the first team's duty was to raise the flag in the morning, and the second team's duty was to hoist down the flag in the afternoon, I know because I was once a flag raiser troops, even tho didn't make it to the national level and perform in the presidential palace like what you just watched, I was a flag raiser troops in provincial level back in 2014, it was once in a lifetime and I would never forget it :)

The title of this video means "Flag raising ceremony in Merdeka presidential palace" They trained like an athlete for about a month, they also got isolated during their practice, so they won't be able to stay in touch with family and friends, no mobile phones and they must obey the semi-military rules during their preparation for the big day, the video you just watched was the troops from 2018, every year they choose new delegates to represent their province, and the girl who carry the tray in this video, came from west Java province, and every year that position change to every girl that reached the highest score from the instructur to be the tray carrier, it was one of the most crucial position in that troops, so the girls have to practice so hard to obtain that position, and once the instructur see the girl that have the potential able to control her emotion, her poise and confident as she step up in the staircase, the instructur will choose the girl that deserve the spotlight

Same for the boys, they also trained very hard to fill the crucial spots in this troops, the commander, and the three boys that hoist the flag, all delegates from 34 province have the chance to be in that position, but the instructur will only determined the delegates that they think was perfect for that position, and by the way their instructur announced their position just a few hours before the ceremony, so that makes them more nervous but they have to control their emotions otherwise they will not succeed in their performance, after the ceremony they will send back all the 68 children back to their province and school with rewards and also a charter which can be used as a benefits to apply in the university or in the work place that they chose as a consideration

Hi, thank you so much for gave ur reaction for this. I wanna tell u few things, but sorry that my English is not good enough. So : 1. The girl who took the flag is someone who did it for many times, not just once! So she can walk like that, i mean walk forward and then go bavk without see her way. 2. The different colour of their uniform mean that they all are from the different sector/ position like police, soldier, etc. But sorry i dont know the detail of their uniform who are the police or else. 3. The white uniform are students, they are from all of senior high school of 34 provinces in Indonesia who selected before by school, city, and the last is province. And who selected of course they will sent to Jakarta to be a flag hoister which is one of my dream but i cant couse i'm not tall enough. 4. Of course that biodata which written on the screen is someone who did/said something. It's written about their full name, section, which province they come from, place and date when they was born, and which the name of their senior high school. 5. For last, i think that this ceremony has two part. First is this when they rise the flag and when they send down the flag on afternoon. ##### Okay, just this words that i want to tell u. Fun fact is the team wear white bright uniform (with black hat) is a group of young kid of Senior High School from all Indonesian Province ...selected carefully and trained hard with Army instructor. We call it PASKIBRAKA....more or less like the National Flag guardian Indonesian youngster admire them a lot....look how charm they are.. both the Girls & the Boys🤩🤩🤩

The white dress are called Paskibraka, or Pasukan Pengibar Bendera Pusaka, and they are all the choosen high school student from all province in Indonesia.. every year they always choose those choosen student for this event. And every student whom are choosen will be get a lot of benefit such as student grant and university access or grant, based from every province government law or procedure..
