Ok to you it might be “common sense” but think about people from landlocked countries and have possible never swam in the ocean before.. is that common sense to them? For example I come from a snowy country and we lay salt or sand down on the sidewalks to help you walk better. We also put the car into neutral when sliding on ice.. to me that is common sense however I wouldn’t expect someone from a tropical or subtropical country to possibly know that and use that in their every day life. It’s all relative to where you live and how you grew up.

Just watching this in the cold british weather. Looking at you sweat and being hot is making me feel like I am sat under the sun lol...the power of the mind. I love these vlogs.

This island looks gorgeous. If it wasn’t for you making these vids I don’t know if I would have thought to go to Taiwan. I think it’s funny that the restaurant opened without a kitchen and let you order Uber eats! Thanks for another great video xx

I was really happy to wake up to another new video :) Thanks for sharing that gorgeous place with us. I remember when I was a kid, we were on vacation and we were heading to snorkel. The seas were SUPER rough and the trip ended early with me (at least!) throwing up... I never made it into the water, unfortunately. Really enjoyed learning about the people who live on the island too. Xo

Awe you poor thing ♥️ I’m so glad we didn’t get seasick!! I get motion sickness so, I’m glad we beat the seas that day!

I never had Taiwan as a travel destination but you totally put it on my list. That coral was stunning and all the goats.😍 I laughed at your ending, when I’m not filming with my husband I always feel bad at all the times I have to stop to do a b-roll shot or make them turn down the music so there’s no copyright strikes 😂 Ruth is definitely a trooper!

The coral reef looked beautiful. Some parts of the island where the goats where reminded me of Mykonos. Love your adventures Jenn! 😊

美好的旅行，謝謝你的視頻總是帶來喜悅心情～澎湖許多島嶼都可以見到山羊，是台灣重要的山羊產地，還有許多路邊的礁石圍牆，現在是重要的文化遺產。上次去的時候有經過一條古老閩式老房子的街道，很有歷史的美。路上也有不少賣仙人掌果實的，不過導遊說果實內部有軟刺我們非本地人不會處理容易殘留吃到就不好了，所以建議我們不要買果實，只買加工成品就好，當地有特有的風如草茶是其他地方沒有的。那個沒人的島…有很多鬼故事，不過它旁邊有個很美景點的藍洞，但因為安全問題現在是禁止靠近的。澎湖附近的海域有東方百慕達的稱號，空難跟船難隔幾年還是會有，加上當地沒有大型醫院，所以旅程規劃一定要注意身體狀況跟天氣與保險，冬天的時候風吹沙嚴重會難以出門因此旅遊還是春末夏初適合，另外因為很多地方要坐船換島，容易暈船的人真的要準備好藥品

Nothing is expensive huh! The price for the tour was really good in my opinion! That would've cost like 200-300 US dollars per person where I live at least!

Not to mention in Canada and The US you would also have to tip! Tipping culture isn’t * really * a thing here from what I’ve experienced.

Hence I said “isn’t really a thing here” 😉 Although for English speaking tours I have been told by companies themselves “tip is not included” which means it is welcomed if you want to tip your guide for the day. I think that is more towards foreign tourists and it Taiwanese however. Anyways have a nice day

Free diving there is one of my bucket list, so I'm kinda jealous of you guys!! BTW, I highly recommend you to visit Green island after the pandemic. The scenery underwater and the visibility of water are absolutely amazing.

That’s me now!! Taiwan is in a “soft lockdown” because of the recent surge of cases. I haven’t done anything since this trip. At least I can relive it editing

Not to put on sunscreen while diving in the ocean reminds me a few years ago, tiny plastic microbeads were banned from using them to wash face. Apparently, people are working hard to preserve the environment step by step which is very good.

Microbeads are the tiny plastic spheres used as exfoliants in face wash, toothpaste, deodorant and just about any other beauty products on the shelves. But manufacturing plastic at such a tiny scale and then disseminating them by the tens of thousands into nearly every home turned out to be a really, really bad idea. Our wastewater treatment plants are not designed to handle the microbeads, which means they mostly wind up back in the environment.

FYI -- After plenty of damning scientific research and years of reminders from environmentalists that microbeads are a terrible, no-good, disastrous idea, President Barack Obama signed a bill into law banning them for good.

I know that news, and some of scrub brands change their microbeads to natural things like sea salt or nuts, so we still can use scrub products just make sure they not using microbeads. (for personal, I prefer nuts, sea salt is so hurts if you had some little wound)

Currently the fireworks festival in Penghu (which we went and saw) is cancelled/postponed due to the outbreak. If things can somewhat go back to how they were then they might resume the fireworks festival. If not, then next year hopefully ✨

Because Taiwan’s epidemic prevention work has done well in the past, Taiwan hopes to use its international reputation to join the WHO organization, but China wants to prevent it, so it came up with a way to make Taiwan’s epidemic worse. Let Taiwan lose its international reputation for epidemic prevention in order to combat international support for Taiwan’s entry into the WHO. There are pro-China people in Taiwan who do not want Taiwan to join the WHO organization, but they have liaison with China.
