Literally solved the only issue with penetrating shot when it comes to 1 on 1 bosses

Appreciate the high quality build guides and the showcase. 2 questions please if you could: 1. how do you expect this build to perform for high Level nightmare dungeons and uber lilith. Do you see any potential shortcomings for the very end game content? 2. how important is it to invest 3 points into shadow step for the stun and how do you generally utilize this skill. What do you think about swapping it for a single point of either Dash or Concealment for utility, and save 2 more points for something else.

I build one similar to his but I use only 2 imbue instead of all 3 like him. Shadow imbue pretty much melt every pack of enemies. All you have to do is puncture the creeps, gather them and gain 3 combo points then booom, everything is gone after 1 shot. Poison imbue is for bossing and it is super OP. I think poison in D4 stacks, so if you shoot the first poison imbue shot, u see boss hp drains slowly but after the second shot, it drains super quick and took a chunk of hp bar. I also use concealment to get out of cornered situation and Shroud to increase Crit ( pair very well with the aspect that gives you shroud everytime you crit)

I’ve taken a fair bit of defense in my paragon, but the more important thing is the stat lines on your gear %armor and %damage from close (or distant) enemies play a huge role.

What is your thought process behind using Accelerating Aspect over the Rapid Aspect that gives you flat 30% attack speed? Isn't using basic skills to generate 3 combo points the only purpose of attack speed, or do your other skills benefit from attack speed as well?

I am using Accelerating Aspect on my ring. Shifted Corruption to weapon, and to replace the ring slot (where corruption was) I'm using accelerating.

@@Valuedx yea, I understand, but I’m just curious why opt for accelerating aspect since it gives 5% less attack speed than rapid aspect. Not only is it temporary but also conditional, requiring critical strikes with penetrating shot to activate it. Meaning at the beginning of an encounter, you would be 30% slower compared to Rapid aspect and if you don’t bridge the 5 second gap between encounters, you lose the atkspd buff. Wouldn’t a flat permanent 30% atkspd on basic skills without conditional requirements be more ideal? Unless your skills other than ur basic skills are somehow benefiting from the 25% atkspd…that’s what I’m wondering about.

Hey how about HC ? i´m right now playing hardcore trying to push and wanna switch to pen shot... any build for hc?

What are your thoughts on grabbing siphoning strikes for the health regen? Is it worth it, or use the points elsewhere?

I think it really depends on how you're playing this build. If you're playing a more aggressive variant of this build, where you're speccing into "Damage to Close Enemies" and trying to be close, it could be viable - but for my playstyle, I don't personally spec into the close range parts of this build.

I will note here: I walked into this dungeon with 1/9 potions so at the start I was playing rather safe. When I'm full 9/9 potions, I play more aggressively than this.

Well I'm still level 95, so it's hard to gauge. I've done group Tier 60 NM dungeons and my damage feels ridiculously. The part of this build that I have to really think about is my ability to not get 1 shot. So when I'm level 100, I will likely make some paragon choices & sacrifice some secondary properties on my gear to go more defensive for my pushing variant of this build.

Is the paragon board still the same?

God I hate poison damage. I wish the resist elements did a bit more if you decided to stack it, beause the amount of poision damage you took is scary lol. GG appreciate all the content!

I've been doing Eridu farms (sadly just got nerfed) and I'm able to clear massive packs of elites in there faster than most players in my party. I'm consistently making it back to the middle where we meet before anyone else.

i run nightmare 51 with my lvl83 death Traps. what is not good.... So i think this build is nothing spezial so long it dosnt push higher...

played pen shot since lvl 1 until now, 51. I really don't like watching my health 80% of the time, I have yet to see other builds having survivability problems like this

i think with full gear it could work in pvp and hit pretty hard but for pvp i would prob run like twisting blades or a rapid fire build with shadow clone and poison imbuement im running a build with puncture, twisting blades, shadow step, dash, poison imbuement, shadow clone and the single target damage is crazy high lol

You can also skill into rapid fire to melt bosses if you dont have the necessary gear/aspects to run just penetrating shot

Ya but rapid fire is bad if lots of mobs, but really good with bosses

You need rapid fire for more single target.

Ive been using rain of arrows instead of poisen trap. Ita really strong with the necklace "word of hakan.

Yeah that necklace can be awesome, but the problem is for me - I personally put Trickshot on my Amulet, and sacrificing that extra damage on the extra shots is worrying for where I am in the game. But - Rain of Arrows with Word of Hakan is AWESOME. Literally clears enemies so fast.

@@Valuedx rain of arrows is a cool skill, but the cooldown is way too long for the pace of the game and the dps you sacrafice for slotting it is really big. imo, there should be an extra skillslot for ultimates in this game. maybe give them longer cooldowns if that would be the case.

I hate playing builds with 0 sustain and this seems like one of them. The only sustain being potions looks a little annoying.

It ha 3% of max life on crit, so you do get some huge sustain on clear and some minor sustain on bossing

This is arguably one of the most pen shot favored dungeons in the game. All of the small spiders that erupt from the hosts are great cannon fodder for flashy shadow imbue explosions. Highly doubt this build looks as smooth in the ghost dungeons or quill rat dungeons.

It sucks on pvp tho 😢

Tier 50 is nowhere near "the true endgame"... You are level 95, of course you destroy tier 50 dungeons. I mean every level 80 with a decent build already destroy tier 50... Show us tier 80+.
