the new commandramon line is my favorite thing about the new generation

I'm really surprised that we're getting all of Gammamon's main evolutions on Virus Busters! It might mean less variety for the roster and less ultimate forms, but I feel like it's a pretty great way to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Digimon Animation as a whole, having the full evolution lines of the oldest and newest anime protagonists all on one device.

You have helped me decide to finally pick up the Digimon Pendulums! I was all into the Vital Bracelet that I overlooked the various new Virtual Pets. I’m bummed that I missed my chance to get the three previous Pendulums, but I will hope they open new pre-orders sometime. These rosters are pretty cool! I’m disappointed more than anything that Metal Empire and Virus Busters both have Wargreymon and Metal Garurumon. I love those two, but they could have been clever and used some kind of variant of them, like Victory Greymon and Z’d Garurumon.

I too have gotten back into digimon after picking up a VB. I know what you mean, I really hope they re-release the previous 3 pendelums.

I'm relieved that they just released the rosters all at once! I was definitely surprised at the Virus Busters roster. I'm still really torn, though. Makes it hard to decide on just one! 😅

I could nitpick about the rosters, but when comparing this to what we got for the original Digimon Colors 1 and 2, I say things are way better overall. I really hope that Bandai keeps making Color devices after these ones though. They typically seem to stop at the Pendulum when remaking the old devices so part of me is nervous that these are the last of the Color series.

While I have little interest in the digivices, I do hope they make more. Considering that most of the rookies in Digimon Liberator are from the Pendulum Z series. They could make Pendulum Color Z ones with Digimon Liberator.

I already got the metal empire. But I grabbed the wind guardians last night when we got the full rosters.

Most of my opinions are kinda same to you really, Liberator Webtoon format is such a pain to read but by doing that they also think outside the ox and do transition style that Book/Manga cannot do too much, I just wish it loads better. As for Virus Busters, it was a pleasant surprise when I heard there will be 2 lines for Gammamon that Jogress into Proximamon, but using 2 Ultimate slots for 2 Gamma Adult kinda kills it for a lot of reasons that you mentioned, the evolution balance is reverse and being guest roster it gets locked behind if you cannot connect with other devices. Also wasted the potential to have interesting Ultimates for Asuramon and Metalmamemon, it could be Regulumon as there is Leomon or some brand new or something, instead we got 2 Adult Gammamon that doesn't really link to any Perfect but that also make me intrigued to see how they gonna handle it. Also not getting Lovelyangemon was a bit of bummer but Quantamon is fine I guess? I just got paid today and finally enough budget to buy them (all 3 of cause), October couldn't come sooner.

I don't particularly mind Gammamon's whole line being there, but it IS annoying that a large portion of the Virus Busters roster is locked behind connection with another Pendulum.

Unless it's a mistake in the machine translation, the Monmon Memo says Pinocchimon + Hydramon isn't the only possible combination for Cernumon. So it's presumably another Tlalocmon situation where there's a third Ultimate and you can choose any two of the three.

I like Gammamon but yeah, taking up of 1/3 of the rosters really pushed out other digimon that could have taken the ultimate spots

I snagged wing guardians preorder and am super hype~ may also grab metal empire if I get chance before they ship out

I really like Metal Empire’s roster and I picked up Wind Guardians alongside it since it has Veedramon’s line and Cernumon has such a great design. I was going to skip Virus Busters but I just now ordered it almost solely because of Gammamon, I’ve been watching Ghost Game and he’s become my second favorite main partner mon after Veemon.

I'm disappointed Angewomon's Ultimate form isn't Ophanimon, but it's awesome that HolyAngemon evolves into Dominimon. Pteromon is awesome, and I'm so glad to get that evolution route. I'll preorder Wing Guardians and Virus Busters tomorrow when I get paid. I'm very excited!

The Wind Guardians device has the most consistent theme out of these three but I'd be lying if I said Metal Empire doesn't interest me, I love the idea of Clockmon evolving into Knightmon and if it's true it eventually becomes Zekegreymon then this is just perfect since knights are associated with dragons usually. The Virus Busters device doesn't really have anything I like except Quantamon since that's something new and I kinda like its design. Gammamon and the rest of the line though I already have my fill from the VB Dims.

Waiting for these made me be bust out my pendulum z. Raised my digimon to a high evolution before dying and got a traited egg. How cool would it be if there was some sort of visual indicator on the digimon itself that it came from a traited egg. It could have the same sparkle effect as the egg or something.

You can get them from Mandarake afterwards guys, well not a gurantee that youll get a good price... But sometimes there are absolute steals

Virus Busters is probably my favorite field, but I'm really not too hot on Gammamon (I like Gammamon himself but most of his evolutions I'm mid on)...so...hm.

Correct me if I'm wrong, is this a new feature? I saw on the japanese youtube release of wave 2 pendulum and saw that virus buster version is able to jogress just from its back up saved mega? Does it work for metal empire too if i have WGM and MGM as back up data?

Returning feature! Jogress from backup was first introduced on the Pendulum Z, and is reused on the Color. Details about the feature can be found in this section: humulos.com/digimon/penc/manual/#battles

Also, they really kneecapped virus busters if it was the only one you're getting. as it stands i feel like the best value is to just get wind guardians, and one of the other two since it has the least amount of overlap that way.

I am a Gammamon enjoyer but it feels kinda bad filling a sizeable chunk of the roster with what is essentially a DLC... Idk it might've been better on a larger roster device like an X or PenZ. But oh well, I will enjoy it anyways! My fave roster is Wind Guardians I think ❤

Such a wasted opportunity to bring back Regulumon (Leomon Stage VI from V-Tamer 01) on Virus Busters, that would have made all the sense, considering that they recently bring back Callismon and Dominimon from the same manga. I'm really disappointed of the decision of including 4 adult forms for Gammamon, sacrificing 2 Ultimate forms for the device :( Thank you for your analysis

How there can be no Veemon on a device featuring Veedrammon's evolution line baffles me....

I hate how expensive the pendulum x is.

Honestly, some disappointment for Virus Buster IMO, I was expecting some royal knights roster.

Virus Busters is a great choice for anyone who wants to raise 10 very similar triceratops sprites. The black and white mod for this one is going to be crazy.

Why does palmon look so ugly compared to the original vpet sprite?
