Exactly their music brings me to good and familiar feelings and memories from long ago. Looking back while listening to this makes it feel like if the feelings and events from my past seem to have occurred yesterday. Only music like this takes you way back with such vivid memories. Exquisite for the ears this music and them not being well known through mainstream "music" allows me to feel privileged to love Pendragon

Après tant d'années à l'écouter , toujours aussi émerveillée, admirative, transportée dans un autre monde . Que de sensibilité et de beauté et de perfection

This song is one of my favourite of this band, in particular the last sentence makes me feel excited but sad too, it's such a nostalgic song for me "It's then I know I've never been alone, it's then I know I'm home..." I can't stand without listening this song at least twice a day.

And as I stand on the edge of the world And I look into your eyes I realise you're still there I thought you'd gone, like the windblown leaves Then I remember in Zabrze Chile and in Poland our homeland Dzien dobry, jak sie mamy I was scared I wouldn't see you again I just couldn't see how But from an acorn grows an oak I should know that by now

Sometimes I feel like a twig in a stream Don't know where it's going Don't know what it means And I know I'll find some peace of mind And I will always be back some day And as I travel the far points of the earth I will keep you in my mind Sometimes I feel like a twig in a stream Heading out to sea It's then I know I'll never be alone It's then I know I'm home

Butt this song definitely does not deserve such a comment. It is one of their few great, progressive compositions, beside "Paintbox", "Black Knight" and "Elephants never grow old". Also "King of the castle", though it's hardly progressive. I aslo love their two pop-rock songs, "The mask" and "Eye for an eye". Disappointing outcome for such a rich discography, I admit, but it doesn’t diminish the value of these few gems, including this one.
