Or, try a graphite oil additive in the tubing instead of the filings..... I wonder if sausage meat would work too?!! If it comes to that, soot should also work - It's carbon!

Awesome video, despite it not being 107% lol. An idea you could try, get some pieces of heatshrink tubing and fill it with powdered graphite, then insert a cap at each end as a terminal and then shrink it down. Am confident it would work, but it would be interesting to see how they perform to factory made leads, and how durable they are. Could buy pre-powered graphite used as industrial lubricant or make your own from removing pencil leads and crushing them up in a mortar & pestle or coffee grinder haha.

Use contact adhesive on longer paper strips, sprinkle with charcoal powdered from a fireplace. Then spray more contact adhesive over the charcoal, and wind the paper along a piece of plastic tube that fits the distributor holes. To attach to the spark plug with a good electrical connection, bend a 1" long stiff bare wire folded in half, one end inside the tube to contact the plug, the other end outside the tube contacting the charcoal. The tubing gives stability for less risk of shorting and a look of normalcy.

it would likly work better to... wrap copper wire around the graphite paper "the paper being tightly wrapped around its self before being wound with wire", then covered in a stranded nylon braid that holds the wire to the paper core that is when coated in liquid rubber epoxy in several cycles so each dries properly... future update make a ethanol graphite paste, saturate a nylon strand "that is the same diameter as the rolled paper core" with the ethanol graphite paste, then wrap that with thin wire and so on again. "graphite infused plug wires, because when the copper wire brakes internally on other wires they completely stop working".
