I'm having one of my grand afternoons out today - to Penarth in South Wales. I arrive at Penarth Rail station via a Transport for Wales Train. I take a stroll through Alexandra Park down to Penarth Pier and Esplanade. I enjoy a mooch along beach, enjoying the sights and sounds along the way. I round off my day with a coffee on Penarth Pier and a delicious freshly cooked pizza slice from Pizza Pronto.

The birds are turnstones. We love to watch them on the waters edge. Saw loads this summer at St Michaels Mount in Cornwall

Nothing is more relaxing than hearing the water lapping the shore. Just love it. Those stones/pebbles look SO uncomfortable to me 😂 I’d never get anywhere on that beach. Thanks for taking us along with you

I'm surprised that it's still warm enough at the end of Oct for people to be out on a jet ski. I would think that the water would be so cold. What a great pier, and of course, there's nothing better than the fresh air smell of the seaside. It's so nice that you are close enough to go and enjoy a nice walk at the beach. The one clip of the rainbow is so pretty, and the colours are so vibrant. The pizza looked delicious!. 💗

Hello Imo, great video,Penarth looks a really nice place to go to.the camera to pick up the building with the sirens,seeing how far it is has a brilliant zoom.

It’s an amazing zoom isn’t it? I need to swop it for a later model though as it doesn’t have a view finder and the monitor screen is so dim I often can’t see what I’m filming if it’s bright out. I was all right today though. Thanks, Steven.

Ah that brought back memories imo all sitting on pier talking for an hour and all saying anyone feel burnt lol it was so hot for early June must come back and see you again next year was a wonderful day funny enough I have a music friend in Newport now as well not far from there great video and loved seeing the beach and pier donny xx

Willmores is an outside cafe, does food, cake, ice cream. It also has a garden and is peaceful in my opinion. It's open till 4pm
