One of the hidden gem in Penang for nasi kandar other than the line clear and deen maju.. Sulaiman are underrated, and that's why they became 1 of the hidden gem.. I would recommend the curry fish.. Just my humble opinion but i didn't queue up for deen maju nasi kandae, I'd rather go to Sulaiman because price and taste wise, more or less like deen maju.. Like i mentioned previously, Sulaiman underrated.. Anyways, nice video bro..

But then as a penangnites i never fancy deen maju too.. even most of my penangites frens never fancy Nasi kandar means nasi kandar kg melayu.. or maybe din jelutong.. other than that dont think other offers real nasi kandar

@@knd253253 i recommend u try nasi kandar in bayan lepas. IMO much better than the one in tanjong. nathrah sari, tasha dhal kandar, daud.

I agree with the statement that Sulaiman is really, really underrated. But just my 2 cents.. As a penangite (pulau, not seberang, okay.. haha), im a little bit confused with my fellow islanders.. I enjoy and cheerish different tastes of nasi kandar around penang.. in fact I can say im one of the earliest customer of deen maju when the owner first started with just a small, humble gerai... what i noticed is when when one small nasi kandar becomes bigger and popular, and tourists started looming to this particular nasi kandar shop, we locals started to say “aah this one not original one, kg melayu is the original we locals go after..,” etc.. So instead of saying this nasi kandar or that nasi kandar is not original penang or locals dont go there... let it be.. every people got their own tastebuds.. rambut sama hitam, hati lain2... lidah pun lain2 maa..

Nasi kandar Sulaiman terkenal sejak 1970an..masa 1970an sebelum kesekolah seawal 6.30pg dah beratur beli nasi kandar...asal dlm kedai kopi cina di market cross..bertentang dgn kedai Sultan jual pisang

This Server "knows" & that's why, he asked. By the way, any info. abt Dawood Restaurant.......in the 50s to 70s, it was a place to go for, Nasi Briyani.

Yeah.. nasi kandar beratur at 12am then jalan2 minum teh tarik then at 4am come here for early breakfast. Then balik hotel for tidor.. definately my must visit to penang in my next trip. Tired of queing up at Deen maju and hameediyah..

Mereka beli telur ayam saiz yang paling kecil "E" 15Sen sahaja se biji! jual RM1:50. berapa untung? baru lah mereka buka cawangan lagi seluruh malaysia. yang sebuah nasi kandar sejak 1949 operasi di pulau pinang dan kemudian di kampung baru, KL ,bangi dan putra jaya. Pengurus kedai itu warga asing pilih suka membeli sayur sayuran yang tolak punya di pasar KL dengan seorang miyanmar harga yang bagitu rendah! kalau tipu pelanggan yang percaya mereka bagaimana allah memberi rezeki kepada majikan seperti ini?
