I think kaya nacconfuse din yung iba because of the word "and" between m, d or a and s. It should be "Multiply OR divide, whichever comes first from left to write. Use OR instead.

I was taught that multiplication should be done first before division and the same for addition to subtraction following the order in the abbreviation MDAS. Kaya pala puro second place ako sa regional level of competitions during my elementary days. Mali turo ng Math coach ko all along my god. I graduated in college this year at ngayon ko lang nalaman because I'm reviewing for cse exam and nagtaka ako bat mali answers ko sa mock exam. Fml

What's the purpose of ORDER OF OPERATIONS if we dont understand it? PEMDAS, GEMDAS, BODMAS, BEDMAS, BIDMAS... these are all JUST an ACRONYMs for us to remember the ORDER OF OPERATIONS... Did you watch the ENTIRE video that includes all the REFERENCES?

@@MsLeonalynTayone yes, ofcourse. I think the item that you answered "16", it is "4" if you use PEMDAS. That (8x1÷2) or (8÷1x2), how come the answer is 16? Isn't it supposed to be "4"? Multiplication comes first before Division, right?

Number series po kasi yan naka pattern yung 2,4,6 so susunod is 8 A bit tricky sa mga sign kasi naka pattern din pang lito lang...

madam sensya po ha. na confuse lng po ako sa #7 [(15-8+3), 8, (4/2x3), ____ ] enuna ko po yung (4/2x3) dn 8 dn saka na yung (15-8+3), so anser ko was 6,8,10.. looking 12 ako as an answer pro wala sa choices po,, wer as sa inyo as is lng pala.. i thot kasi mas unahin ang multiplication or division kaysa addition/subtraction. pag in a parenthesis ho ba ider kung san ang nauna from left to right then, e ignore lang po ba po what kind of operation? tnx much po you are such a BIG help po. Please watch the video again po... First set , second set , third set, _____ First set = (15-8+3) second set = 8 Third set = (4÷2×3) Meron pong comma in between po Order of Operations po ang tawag sa PEMDAS... kapag meron na pong comma meaning hindi na po yan iisang operation tulad ng: 1. (15-8+8) 2. 8 3. (4÷2×3) 4. Uunahin nating e solve ang #1... then #2 (although wala na tayong ma solve dyan... then #3...) In other words, separate po kasi sila at hindi together. Unless if there are operations in between instead of comma like... (15-8+3)+8+(4÷2×3) then uunahin talaga nasa loob ng parenthesis bago yung iba.

@@MsLeonalynTayone how about minding d parenthesis po.. both are in differnt operations po 1st is subtraction/addition, dn last is division/multiplication.. not necessarily po ba unahin ang last group kysa 1st mam? Pag may comma ho ba.. as is lng ang ordr ng pagsolve meaning d na kelangan Gamitin ang ordr of operations? Tnx a lot mam leonalyn.

hinding hindi ako mag sisi dito nga ilang ulit kong naririnig ang LEFT TO RIGHT!!! kasi nga hindi sa order nang PEMDAS mag base undi sa rules baga ba! kung ano nauna specially sa peMDas LEFT TO RIGHT ANG PAG SOLVE. pag sa pemdAS same din LEFT TP RIGHT. -------sorry po nag type po ako para di ko talaga malimotan hahaha

Your teacher must have taught you pemdas and you are using it without any thought. Look at d. Change it to m and invert. Now about add and subtract. 7-2+1. To me I am adding. So I want you to think about PEMA instead of pemdas. Your advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks
