    I've lived in Pembroke for the last 5+ years, and I can honestly say that it is the best place in Ontario.

    Thanks Ashleigh-Hope Morgan for the comment. Obviously these videos we like to keep to 7-9 minutes in length as there is a lot of work that goes into them. If we covered everything it would be pretty lengthy. Think of them like a small sampler so people can explore eventually on their own.

    Great job on the video, just to add, pembroke has a few, taxi service companies to get around the city and surrounding area, such as, Redd Taxi, Dannys Taxi, and Valley Taxi.

    As someone who grew up here and is still living here currently, all I can say is avoid Pembroke at all costs. If you are set on the Ottawa Valley, please consider Arnprior, Renfrew, Petawawa, Eganville, or Deep River before Pembroke. This area has a lot of issues, and there doesn't seem to be much desire to change at the local level.

    What is the avg rent of houses for international students?

  • @LivingInOttawa

    @LivingInOttawa

    8 ай бұрын

    Thanks for reaching out with your question! The average rent for houses in Ottawa can vary based on several factors like location, size, and amenities. For international students, you might be looking at a range from approximately CAD 800 to CAD 1500 per month for a room in a shared house or apartment. This can go higher for more central or upscale neighbourhoods. It's also worth considering options like student residences or homestays, which can sometimes offer more budget-friendly solutions

    Choose Arnprior or Renfrew instead. True meaning of Canadian pride & beauty in the downtown areas ESPECIALLY 🔥💯🔥
