We bought the American made waterrower, entry level model. Very smooth action and just lifts up to store our of the basic. You only get a basic monitor, but it is accurate, as far as I can tell. Agree with you, a rower is an excellent home exercise machine for a full body workout that's low impact. Great for older people who want to maintain fitness.👍😇

A bunch of articles I read said that Peloton officially stated they will not be releasing their rowing content on the app. I hope that’s not the case!! I love my Concept2 & have tried all kinds of different rowing content & programs over the years, but I’d like a little razzle dazzle of Peloton classes!!

The rower is like my nemesis. We're in constant battle. I wish I had the space for a home gym, but our gym is available 24 hours so its not to bad.

Frugal Fit Dad. When using the app, how was the meter tracking. Was it still off? I just got the mr60 and I don't notice too much of the little nuances you mentioned. I guess I am too much into the workout. Great video

is this machine allow you to do the proper rowing, can you perform proper catch position? I saw a lot of machines with this design flaw which restrict doing proper catch position. thank you

I have never tried the assault bike but I also don't want to as everyone basically hates it, so I'm sure it's brutal. But this looks good, except this strange click or what you said...

I sold it. The distance meter was so far off that it made it very difficult to use.

Hi I’m thinking about purchasing one of these rowers but am concerned on how good the resistance is. Do you get more resistance the harder you pull being it’s air resistance and is there much of a difference in the magnetic resistance between 1 and 10?

The magnetic resistance works well. It shows the wheel down between pulls so it requires more effort with each pull. It does not feel harder when you pull harder.

Yeah that sounds right. Mine was 28-30 strikes per 500m

That’s a toss up between an exercise bike and a treadmill.

Your rowing form is bad. Your leaning back first and not leading with your legs. So you could benefit from the Peloton rower with the form assist. Or watch Dark Horse rowing for tips on your form. Nothing beats the Peloton rower. Get one!
