I have 900 rides on a bike that has been clicking as long as I can remember. I bought a very lightly used Bike+ and was surprised there was no clicking. After about 10 hours of riding, it started clicking. Is this a common failure? Are PeloDoctors replacement more robust?

How do you get the a stripped Allen head bolt? Used 5mm exactly as said and these things are insanely soft. Way too tight.

A way it can be removed is drilling through the read of the screw with a 8mm drill bit about 1/4 deep and the bearings should come out with the threaded bit intact.

The problem stated is sweat crystallizing. I am guessing that simply cleaning it up won’t help at all?

My bike+ has a faulty bearing after only 80 rides. I do mostly long zone 2 rides, (1hr-ish each). I was very surprised this fault occurred so early.

@@seandunderdale under warranty? They should fix it if so. If not it’s pretty cheap I think I paid $35 or $45 for the assembly from Peloton and then installed it myself in about 10 mins. Still, crazy yours went bad that quick

@np4057 weeks outside my 12month warranty. Didn't ride much first 12 months due to injury. I have bought the part and plan to fit it myself. Just surprised and disappointed a premium product can go wrong so quick.

@@seandunderdale just wait until your screen starts having touch screen issues. Only $500 to replace too 😂 I’ve been using a Bluetooth mouse on mine for several months now because the bottom half of my screen doesn’t respond anymore.

It has failed when you start hearing the noise, the noise becomes louder as it becomes worse, it will also affect ride, bike could feel heavier on some occasions

@@thepelodoctor I confirmed with Peloton that the bearings need replacement. It is making a noise similar to what you posted here. It looks like my output is down about 30 points and does seem harder to pedal since I started hearing this noise. Think it is due to bearing issue? I hope they send an experienced person to replace, I don't want my bike to be even worse than it is now.
