It all began when we met him on his finder's back porch, injured from a life-threatening BB gun pellet wound. Unfortunately, the pellet had broken his femur, and due to the degree of infection and how severe the break was, we decided to remove his leg.
Here's the good news: Pellet's operation was successful, and since then, he was adopted by a family who reports you would never even know he was missing his hind leg.
