"Are you really the person who wants to stand out with a 450 pound case at the airport?" - just buy them in black and hide behind the Rimowa people.

this is real!!! Currently I'm in China, and there's lots of 'Rimowa people'. I imagine they're just full of dirty underwear as all their travel budget was blown on the case. 🤫 Buying black is a good option, also covering the logos with luggage straps, or duct tape.. If that's your thing. Either way, my red TRVL is picking up some battle scars, and I'm very happy about that!

How easy to drag around at the airport, train station etc since it only has 2 wheels?

@@Syd7088 Easier than a 4 wheeled case. You need to push a 4 wheeled case, you can pull a 2 wheeled case. You need to be aware you're pulling something behind you though, so you may need to make your turns a little bit larger to prevent running into stuff.

@@Syd7088 through the airport, train station - easy, smooth. through cobbled/uneven streets and tight spaces, a bit more annoying than a 4 wheeler - but still more handleable. What I've found is that it likes to 'rock' from wheel to wheel which makes it unstable. might be due to how rigid it is, combined with the wheels being quite small. I end up just picking it up like a briefcase if the terrain is anything like cobblestone 😺

What would be useful is to see videos of a case that has been through 20 airline check-ins to see how much damage or lack of that occurs with all the superficial scuffing to be expected.

I will make a follow-up video after 17 more check-ins 😺 this guy did a great durability test video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/o3yF2M2rnqWrqso.html

My air case has had one clip/latch damaged and has been through 8 international trips (approximately 20+ airport legs) and another 40+ domestic flights. The latch was available on Amazon in a pack of 2 and it took about 5 minutes to repair. Quite a few shallow scratches and grooves. About the same as you would see on a hdpe kayak after a few kayak trips
