Included in this category are the OSTs from Scaramouche's backstory cutscene, boss cutscenes, etc, the Lantern Rite cutscenes / Yaksha cutscenes, and the OST used in the summer event.

@@Caphee_ "Comme il vous plaira" is the theme played when Focalors is on screen and "The Last Rose of the Sinner" is the part where you have to defeat the mechs to begin the Furina sequence. "Crepuscule des idoles" is the Furina backstory sequence.

The Narzissenkreuz questline was probably my favorite world quest in Genshin. The characters felt so real, they are only childrens trying to do what they thought was right and the best for everyone. Eventually, they go their separate ways, just like in real life... BRB, gotta go cry again🥲

Without context, it sure makes a good lullaby. But for those who know, it's somewhat traumatizing.

Okay, first off, 24:37 is probably my favourite ost in the entire game so far. It genuinely has such a weight to it that I don't think any other ost comes close to, especially with the ties to Narzissenkreuz and where it plays. But more importantly, the name is so genius. It literally translates to, "The Sea, The Mother." Which is incredibly fitting since it plays in the Primordial Sea, where all life began. Such an impactful soundtrack. edit: Also, 54:50 is so amazing. Fontaine easily peaking the soundtrack.

The reason it's underrated or rather often forgotten is, because they locked such a great track into a tiny area where you only have to go once or twice for a sidequest... It's such a waste! Yes, you can go there again whenever you want, but that fantastic track is just completely wasted on it IMO... Imagine this track playing in the Court of Fontaine instead. Reminds me of Port Ormos, too. As good as the city themes of Sumeru & Fontaine are, I'd have preferred it if the respective tracks of Port Ormos & Lumidouce Harbor actually played in the cities, because you naturally would get to listen to them more often and IMO they would fit the cities as much as the ports...

Thelxie lullaby, Lumidoice Harbor, Narcissus themes, whew, this album is jam packed of all our favorites, i love it. Next has to be the surreal underwater themes...

"La mer, la mere" might be one of the best soundtracks ever made in the history of humanity, well at least that is my opinion, i honestly don’t even know how to describe it, the music just makes me feel so empty, anxious and sad, but it’s also beautiful and calming, giving me a weird feeling of peace that no other music has ever given me. Honestly this might sounds weird but when i listen to it i can’t help but imagine the Void of space, it’s never-ending nothingness, yet it is also full. Quiet and dark at times, but when a star explodes it becomes louder and brighter than anything we could ever imagine. Just thinking about space feels cold, sad, soulless and helpless but in a weird way it also feels so full of life and wonders. It’s a paradox honestly, and THAT is what this "la mer, la mere" sounds like to me, i know it might sound weird but that is how i feel, every time i listen to it i feel empty but also kind of hopeful and excited for what awaits me. But i digress, sorry that i went a bit off-topic lol, but to be fair to myself im just trying to express myself and how i feel about this music with my limited knowledge of the english language (it’s not my first language :3) so i figured an analogy would maybe help? Idk, BUT to give myself some credit maybe my comparison wasn’t too far-fetched since space kind of is the root of all existence and we can only hear "la mer, la mere" in the Primordial sea which is the root of most of life in Teyvat and feels very alien-like (at least to me) in the sense that it doesn’t really feel like it belongs to Teyvat, or maybe it’s not that it doesn’t belong to Teyvat, but that it isn’t exclusive to Teyvat so it feels very different from the rest of Teyvat, just like something alien to a planet. (Also it may feel very alien-like since it was entangled with the All-Devouring-Narwhal in the story, which is quite literally an alien to Teyvat) Anyway i should probably stop here, this comment has gotten too long xD

A Narcissus Lullaby sounds pretty charm, but at same time it feels nostalgic and sad, oh man, these onions again :l

I have been waiting for track #14 and #24 for ages. I refused to leave the primordial sea for hours knowing we cannot return there anymore. Same when we met Skirk for the first time

41:34 This piece is too emotional. It really brings a sense of both loss and longing that just tears at the soul. Not that many music pieces can capture that feeling. I’ve only listened to a handful of songs that made me feel that way before. The scene that it plays in only makes it 10x more powerful.

Love the first 2 soundtracks of Lumidouce harbor, so upbeat and joyful. When I got to the harbor for the 1st time, had to stop there for a long time just to listen to the music.

The Thelxie quest didn't have that big an impact on me when the event was running for it... But oh gods do I find the Thelxie pieces tough to listen to now, doesn't help I start thinking of how delicately written the questline was.

Till now, Fontain has the best ost of ever TT TT I use their ost in many of my conference background music

Ever since I first heard Clio's Memoirs during Furina's story quest, that track got stuck in my head so easily. I have been waiting and wondering just when the new album would release with the track in it. Now I can finally listen to it once again!

In case anyone is interested: "The Great Waters That She Had watched Over" is the name of disc 1.

52:47 is the first time i’ve heard a leitmotif from a battle theme (rondeau des fleurs et des rapieres) be repeated in an environmental track. i wish they did this more often, it puts a lot of emotion on both pieces when tying them together!

@@astral284 at 1:36 in rondeau des fleurs, you can hear the arpeggiated A6/3 -> E6/4 in the chimes, which is the motif that repeats in this piece

@@capawesome6127 rondeau des fleurs et rapieres came out with the version 4.0 update as the first battle theme of fontaine’s default soundtrack, while both tracks are part of version 4.0, it’s highly unlikely that a player would have arrived at the ordo before fighting a single enemy in fontaine, so this piece would sound familiar to them since they most likely heard the combat track first before starting the world quest. additionally, this track was not made available on release, unlike rondeau des fleurs. genshin environmental (non-boss) battle music has almost never been written around a world theme, as melodies tend to be very unique and separate.

​​@@physamber the narzissenkreuz world quest starts in 4.0, and the leitmotif is indeed meant to be for the quest, it plays several times during the 4.0 questlines. Its the bell the kids of the orphanage used to hear, signifying that break time is over, as said in one of the quests. Its used in the battle theme as a reference to the order, since they're very related to Fontaine's history.

37:34 I'm surprised this didnt kept playing even after we deciphered the stone slates and include the Fontaine crowd into the "immersion" of the music, since this is basically alluding to all of Fontaine itself standing trial (because everyone shared the same sin being judged during this part). Honestly it would feel even more dramatic and important if this theme just kept playing all the way through until the Narwhal appeared
