The Pelagic Cormorant babies have grown substantially in just a few days, and are getting a nice layer of down. Oddly, the neighbours have a beautiful nest they obsessively tend to, but they have no eggs or chicks.
It is so windy at this location that I'm amazed that the cormorants chose to nest here, but after the drone incident last year at their regular nest site, they may have felt they had little choice.
PSA: Please respect your feathered neighbours and refrain from flying drones near nest sites or babies.
