Pele era mas artista, mucho mas creativo, regateaba de distintas formas hacia juegos con la pelota en el aire, amagaba sin tocar la pelota, siempre inventaba jugadas. Maradona era extremadamente habil y preciso pero hacia casi siempre el mismo regate , para mi Maradona tenía mejor control de la bola (puede ser porque los campos eran mejores) pero Pele era mucho mas creativo y variado su juego

Diego Maradona was the greatest of all times.Respect to Pele.He was a legend.Diego was simply so naturally talented.

Messi is the only player who can be compared to Diego .... Both Diego and Lionel are much more gifted than the rest and by far .

In my humble opinion ur reference about the covered distance of a match got nothing to do with their physis. the covered distance compared to today is rather due to the offside rule back then. Striker had to receive the ball in front of a defender unlike today where they can move on the same height as defender. that led to different tactics and playstyles. Back then they played manmarking with sweeper and catenaccio. If all teammates r marked, how u r supposed to make the game faster? of course they ran less than today

@Dadleft10yearsago Puskas is someone who lost against Germany, just like Cruyff, Platini, Messi and CR7. Van Basten is different he went to Germany defeated Germany and won the most spectacular tournament ever. Van Basten is clearly better than Puskas.
