Films those days were not block busters...infact this one was a box office dud... but yes, he was able to pull in the crowd just through his persona, screen presence... most of the movies he was involved during the late 90s and early 2000s were nothing much to write about in terms of story-line nor his acting was extra ordinary just like today...

I am telling this because I was born in that era and see all actors movies of that time and still I had articles where list of successful movies came . And even at that time my dad was distributer of movie albums and DVDs that time so, he knows and he always tell me about every movies and actors . And from 1989-2000 he has most no. Of hits ,average hits and Blockbusters and 2 ATBs too that time too.
